Yesterday was not a good day. I thought that the family reunion was going to be good but it wasn't lol

Basically i drove an hour and a half after work to my grandma's place where my aunt, uncle, mom were. I got there and I spoke with them for a few minutes. I then decided that I should take them to the pier since we had an hour before the rest of our family arrived. I took them there and my uncle and aunt enjoyed the fresh sea breeze. They were on a plane for 11+ hours so I knew they wanted to walk around. When we got back, we waited like another fifteen minutes for my cousin, his fiancee, his mom to arrive. They came in and I knew immediately that it was going to be awkward. My cousin finally brought his wedding invitation. He had already passed it out to his friends like months ago and we just got it yesterday. His wedding is next Saturday for God's sake! My uncle and aunt were not impressed by him and his fiancee. She can't even speak English and I know that she's only marrying my cousin so that she can get her Green Card. She didn't even introduce herself to me or my mom. She just sat there on the couch. I had to go up to her and ask for her name. My aunt then started talking about preparing for my grandma's funeral (in front of her!!!!) What kind of crazy person would discuss something like that? Especially on the day that my aunt and uncle flew in from Korea! I started tearing up because my grandma began saying that she wanted to be cremated. The tears got out of control and I stood up and said I can't take this anymore. My aunt began to apologize to me and I just left the apartment.

oh my gosh. That sounds like a total disaster. D: I'm so sorry. I wish it would've gone perfectly. D: And wow, seriously, this saturday. I would find that kinda rude. I would get the feeling that he doesn't even want you to be there, or something like that. D: *hugs* [heart] |

Yeah the wedding is next Saturday and that's how my family and I felt. Why would they not want to give us the invitation as soon as possible? Why the delay? My mom is meeting up with my uncle and aunt today to take them sightseeing. I hope they have nice time. I hope that they weren't too upset by what happened yesterday. |

I just want them to be happy. It's been over fifteen years since they saw me and my mom so I just want them to have a relaxing, memorable two weeks.
