"Positive!" He pulled away from the high-blood. "That's why I hugged you!" He laughed softly. "And besides, I can't be uncomfortable around you." Tavros was acting as though he didn't have a brown blush on his cheeks

He couldn't help his smiled, accompanied by a pleasant violet blush. "Well...I'm glad.." He whispered, glancing at Tavros in a strange way. He started to play with the sand a litt.

Tavros went back to playing with the sand when ringing came from the pocket he kept his captchalouge deck in. "O-oh?" He pulled out the deck and got his TrollPod. "Oh..." he frowned. "Just Vriska..."

Gamzee looked up at the sound, fixing Tavros with a look. "what does Vriska want?" He asked, trying to hide the possessive edge in his voice. He was getting to where he really didn't like to share his friend. He knew he had to share though. After all, Tavros was his own person and did as he pleased.

"Just picking fun at me again...." He captchalouged the TrollPod again and put the deck up. "Oh! Hey, Gamzee, remember this?" He looked over at the ocean and put two fingers on both of his temples. Suddenly, two finmammalbeasts (dolphins) jumped up out of the water and did a few flips before diving back in.

He looked at the creatures with a smile. "Yeah..I remember Tav." He pet the other's hair. "You're cool. I like your power." He stepped into the edge of the water, getting jut the tips of his toes wet. "I love water." He said with a dazed sort of look. "It's so calm..Reminds me of you.."

Tavros watched Gamzee at the edge of the water. "Well... it's nice to be relaxed!" He watched the water lap over Gamzee's feet for a moment before looking at the sand and making a small tower.

Gamzee stepped farther into the water, letting it lap around his ankles and soak the bottom of his pants. "Hm..This is really nice.." He said to no one in particular. He just kinda randomly sat down in the water, letting it run up over him.

Tavros just watched from where he was, unable to join his friend by the water. "Gamzee are you okay?" He frowned at the question he'd asked at least seven different times. "Sorry. I'll stop asking"

He looked back at Tavros. "Hm? Oh, I'm fine." He smiled. "Don't worry about it Tav. You don't bother me." He got up and went to his friend. "Want to come sit with me? The water is nice."

He shrugged. "It's up to you... I don't want to burd-" A ringing came from his pocket again and he got his TrollPad out. "O-oh! I-I have to go over to Equius'..." He looked up at Gamzee. "Um, sorry Gamzee, I gotta go... Would.. you mind taking me up the hill again?"

He tries to hide his very obvious disappointment, but failed miserably. "Sure.." He set his friend back into his chair and wheeled him up the hill. "Um...well..bye then.."

"Can I have another hug?" He smiled up at his friend. "And, maybe I can come back over after I'm done at Equius'?"

He nods. "Yeah..Maybe..." He hugs him with a look that's unreadable. "See you later maybe..."

Tavros looked at Gamzee. "Bye Gamzee! I'll message you later!!" He turned and wheeled away toward Equius and Vriska's hives.

He nods and waves, heading back to his own hive to pout.

It wasn't until the next day that Tavros finally sent a message to Gamzee over Trollian.


He really hoped he said yes. He had a surprise for the high-blood.

Gamzee wasn't really looking at his computer sice the day had passed since he'd talked to Tavros. He was currently laying out on his stomach, eyes closed and half asleep. His computer was on though, so he heard it when the message came. He had half a mind to just ignore it and be lazy, but part of him wondered if it was Tav. He checked it and smiled a little.

Tavros smiled and messaged back.


Tavros left his house and made his way to Gamzee's. He froze at the top of the hill, looking down it. He couldn't quite have Gamzee hop into his lap, so he was rather pointlessly holding his jousting lance across his chair . He drew a deep breath and went down the hill "Woohoo!!!"

Gamzee looked at the message and then lazily laid his head back down. He had just dozed off when he heard someone yelling. He jumped about ten feet, then ran out to see what was going on, not bothering to put on clothes. He figured boxers were good. In his half awake state, he hadn't remembered Tavros was coming over, so there he stood, boxer clad and blushing like grape jelly. "U-Uhhh...hi..." His voice squeaked.

Tavros laughed softly. "Hi sleepy head!" A smile played across the brown-blooded troll's face. "I have a surprise for you Gamzee!" His eyes were bright, and almost child-like. "But you have to close your eyes, okay?"

He felt a little bit more at ease since Tavros didn't seem to be worried about his appearance. He cocked his head to the side just slightly. "Oh..ok..." He smiled and lowest and close his eyes. "what is it Tav?" He questioned.

Tavros captchalouged his lance and hesitated for a moment before he gripped the arms of his wheelchair and stood shakily, metal hitting metal has he stumbled lightly. "Oops!" He laughed softly, not used to his new robotic legs "Okay Gamzee... open your eyes!"

Gamzee opened his eyes slowly and gasped shortly. "How..how did you...?" He sputtered, staring at the legs in awe. He reached out a hand to lightly touch the metal. "Did this hurt?" He asked softly.

"W-well... I was unconscious when they cut my legs off...." He said nonchalantly. "But, that's why I went to Equius' hive yesterday..." He shrugged. "But isn't it cool! I can walk again!!" His eyes were still bright.
