"I left you alone... And I'm sorry..." He kissed the other's forehead.

Gamzee just flushed slightly. "Dad..you were busy...I knew that.."

"Well, I am not busy now... However, I need to get some water..." He stood and went to get a glass of water.

Gamzee smiled, hands in his lap. "And maybe now I can be a good son.."

Falkor came back to Gamzee, holding two glasses of water. He handed one to his son and drank the other.

Gamer chugged the water, a bit running out if the glass and down his throat.

Falkor wiped it away and set his own cup down.

Gamzee looked around, guess that Tavros was catching some sleep. "How have you even been? I didn't see much of you, and I always wondered how you were.."

"I've been really busy trying to keep the oceans clean and insure that everything in the ocean would be able to live..." he frowned.

Gamzee shook his head. "I knew that...I'm asking how you were...you know...happy, sad, bored..."

"Well... at the moment I am extremely happy, but, in the ocean, I wasn't too happy..."

"Hmm...well, I've always seen you as sort of my hero...you always made all the sea creatures so happy..."

A smile crossed the lusus' face. "That makes me proud...."

He kissed his dad's cheek. "I'm glad."

He ruffled his son's hair. "You're a good kid/"

Gamzee frowned. "Not really.."

He shook his head. "My last charge, before you, he was a bad kid." The lusus shivered. "He killed some of my closest friends..." He frowned and looked into the distance. "So I killed him."

Gamzee shuddered and turned away. "I killed lots of people.."

"You have not murdered a guardian. That is the one type of killing that is not allowed."

He shrugged in an almost pouty way. "Least everyone I killed came back to life...even if they hate me.."

Falkor stroked his son's head. "Don't fret over that too much son."

He looks sad. "I miss having friends..."

"your friends will come to understand." he said, sounding wise. "you must just wait."

He nodded. "I can do that."

He smiled softly. "Good..." he turned his head as he heard Tavros stirring in bed. "I believe the bown-bloo- I mean, Tavros is awake."
