"Um... How about gummi worms or bears... whichever...." She smiled at Dave.

He nodded and got the food and came back, handing her that and a Faygo. He had some sour patch kids. The movie was just starting.

She cast a slight glance over to Dave to see if he would remove his sunglasses or not.

Dave waited until the lights were off, then removed them.

A slight pout crossed Jade's face, but she simply turned her attention to the screen after taking her bag off.

Dave snickered. "You wouldn't like them. They're red."

"That sounds actually really cool." She smiled. "Like, really really cool"

He shook his head. "Mm...not really.."

"I say it's cool, coolkid." She giggled. "Maybe later I can see them?"

He grinned. "And why should I let you see?"

"Hm... Beecaause I'm adorable?" She said smiling slightly. It was a long shot, but who cares.

"That's very true, but not a valid reason."

"I'll think of a reason... After the movie." She turned her attention to the screen.

The movie was just getting to the scary part, but Dave kept a poker face.

Jade jumped slightly and grabbed the armrest between them.

Dave felt the beginning of a grin hitting his face. The movie became more violent by the second.

Jade eventually broke and buried her face in Dave's arm.

Dave took that moment to get as close was he could. He raised the armrest and slipped an arm around Jade, petting at her hair.

She inched a little closer and peeked out from his side to see the screen, only to bury her face in his side once more.

He tried to keep back his laughter, but a little chuckle still escaped. He held her closer, looking down at her.

She tried to be as nonchalant as possible as she snuck a small glance up at Dave, only to blush and hide her face again.

Dave caught the look and also blushed. "Hey...its ok..." He said softly. "We can leave if it's to scary." From his tone, it was clear he was teasing and was serious.

She shook her head. "n-no... It's fine...." she looked back to the movie and tried not to hide her face again, but didn't move from Dave's side.

Dave stared at her, not caring to really watch the movie which he'd lost interest in by this point.

As soon as someone got killed she buried her face in Dave's side once more.
