WELCOME to ~~hell~~ my page!~ It has been quite sometime since I've been active on mene so all my roleplays have pretty much died. So this thread is a desperate plea for long-term role plays. I have been role playing for quite a bit and have (I hope) gotten better at is as I've grown older, throughout years I've learned my comfort zones and what pleases/displeases me.

I like to become friends with my role-playing partners so don't be afraid to chat me up! I actually really love random conversations, who know we might be interested in the same things! Despite me having to sound like a robot for the rest of the introduction I am actually very nice (at least I hope you think so)!~ C:

I will tell you if I don't like something and if you cannot respect that then I'm afraid I might have to stop our role-play. Rest assured, I will always respect your ideas and limits so long as you tell me what they are. Seeing as I'm not perfect I have my flaws and tend to make the occasional spelling, grammatical or punctuational error. If you see the error just let me know and I'll fix it, or if it doesn't bother you I'll just let it be but I usually re-read my posts after I post them to minimize chances of error.

When I role-play with people I am pretty much a mirror, meaning I will give as much as I get. Now please keep in mind I cannot always dish out a novel on the spot so you may see a chunk of my post there and I might edit some information in as the hours or days go by. I live in the Eastern time zone of Canada and am on usually from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm and then again from 10 pm - as long as I can stay awake. I do come online during the weekends, but not all the weekends, once again, it depends on my schedule for the following week. If I am free I might be on for the whole day on the weekends.

A final thing that I wish to address, if you do not want to continue or cannot post for a while in our role-play at any time and for any reason please just let me know. I don't need a reason, all I need for you to tell me is that you don't want to continue or that you won't be able to post for awhile and it'll be fine. I will also let you know if I can't post or wish to discontinue. Mind you, I might tell you that I want to discontinue the role-play just for awhile or that I would like to stop altogether.

I have no special request as per which character I would like to play, so I will let you claim first! There are only two in red meaning I would really love to do that one if anyone is willing to give it a shot with me!~ As for writing samples go if you want to see one just let me know and I will provide you with one!

I would love to do the Butler x Prince, and I really do not care if I play the Butler or the Prince.

Lost Writer: I'm guessing you'd want the pairing to be m x m correct? And alright then, would you mind if I played the Prince? Is there anything that you want to discuss plot wise or character wise?

Yes, and that is perfectly fine with me, you playing the Prince. I would like to know the age range of each character, and what country will our roleplay take place in? Britain, France, Germany? Or will it have an element of fantasy and take place in a made-up land?

Lost Writer: Alright then!~ So I was thinking the Prince to be 20-22 but look rather young and childish while the butler might range from 22-26. We could work this many ways such as: the butler has known the Prince for pretty much his entire life and is a best friends sorts or he maybe the new guy just trying to fit in and do things right. I wouldn't mind it having an element of fantasy, I think it would be rather fun to mess around with! Can we make it a bit Victorian as well?

Hmm, so a more grown up version of Kuroshitsuji, except Sebastian did not age, only Ciel, because Sebastian is a demon and Ciel is a human, not going off what happened in the anime of course.
I do however like the idea of them being best friends though, so perhaps not like Kuroshitsuji.
Oh, I would love to make it a little bit Victorian, like say the way Kuroshitsuji is suppose to be Victorian Era London, but there are elements of a later time period added in.

Sorry for the confusion and the Kuroshitsuji references, I am slightly addicted to it as of late.

To clarify:
I would like them to be best friends, perhaps they grew up together while the Butler was training to become a butler he lived and worked in the palace, then, when he was old enough, he became the Butler of the Prince.
Victorian Era but with some elements of a close future, such as televisions, cars, and weaponry such as machine guns, the latter of which can be in the making. There can still be opium dens and the like if we want there to be, though it would not be necessary.

Lost Writer: Haha I was thinking of something along the lines of Kuroshitsuji as well so its quite alright that you made those references, they just mean we're on the same page!~ I like your little summary very much, it sums up pretty much everything that we could have in the role-play and how it would start off.

If you don't mind could you please start the thread? I'm a bit preoccupied right now. Is there any thing else that you feel like we must discuss?

Ok, so basically Japanese hosts are male or female and they range any where from 18-mid twenties. They basically get picked by a client and they stay with the client on a sort of "date". They pour their clients drinks, flirt with them and become their friends etc. And it just sort of continues like that!~ Usually outside these clubs or after the nights the client and host have nothing to do with each other unless the client requests to see them again!~ ^^

I like these ideas. I am a paragraph role player and usually quite active. I don't do yaoi or yuri. I prefer to play the female although I will play the male if we double up. The reason for this is because I suck at playing males.

AmberDoucet: I'd like to try the Prince/Princess x Commoner with you!~ I have no problem with hetero, and we can try to double up if you want. I don't mind playing the male, but doubling is always good if it is incorporable in the role play.

Awsome lets double up. I can play the princess and the king and you can play the commoner and the queen. We can have a npc bad guy that we both can play. Does that sound good to you? Im open to suggestions also can we take place in egypt?
