Warriors of Legend (Accepting!!)
 

At the beginning of time, Se’phir was created. The Creator filled the land with many races. Humans, Elves, Demons, Beasts, and Fairies. Along with these creatures, the Creator placed six spirits to watch over them. Lir, ruler of water, took refuge in the seas to the North. The Beasts who dwell in the deserts depended on him to survive. Bel, ruler of fire, occupied the volcanoes in the southern Islands. The Demons who lived there bowed to him in fear of his deadly fires. Anu, ruler of earth, played with the Elves in the forests to the East. Shu, ruler of wind, flew through the mountains to the South. He gave flight to the Fairies’ wings. The twin dragons Abzu, ruler of light, and Tiamat, ruler of darkness, occupied a cave deep beneath the plains. Together, they flew across the land, maintaining peace across Se’phir.

However, as time went on the guardians began to lose their power over maintaining their physical form. With their energy dwindling, the guardians made the choice of creating pacts to preserve what little remained of their energy. Lir chose a beast, Bel chose a demon, Anu chose an elf, and Shu chose a fairy. These hosts obtained the power of the spirits and became known as the Warriors of Legend. A child from the direct bloodline would inherit the spirit and when they came to a certain age, the spirit and its power would awaken within the host, branding them with a symbol signifying they were chosen. Abzu and Tiamat were the only ones who did not initially make a pact with another.

A few centuries pass and the leaders of the races started a world war. Each land trying to control the others with the help of their Warrior of Legend. It continued for many years with no victor, just more and more death. A rebel group comprised of people from each race started to make a stand to end the war. They sought out the twin dragons, hoping they would help end the pointless war before it destroyed everything. They found the two sleeping in a deep cave, however, none entered for fear of their unimaginable power. Two days passed before a young elf offered to go. She had nothing to lose, the war had taken everything away from her. She was denied at first, but with no other offers, the leaders allowed the girl to plea to the dragons for help. The girl approached the two dragons with her head held high and determination in her heart. After explaining the situation, Tiamat scoffed at the little elf. However, Abzu saw a strong light within the girl. He agreed to help and made a pact with the girl. Within a year, the war was dissolved and a treaty between the countries was created.

For millennia, Se'phir was a unified land. Each of the kingdoms worked peacefully together and trusted one another. Then one day the king of the Human realm met an injured man named Arys Korinth while traveling. The king, being as kind as he was, took the man back to his castle and had him nursed back to health. During that time, the stranger and the king became close. Arys also had an agenda of his own. Deep beneath the castle is a cave in which the last legendary dragon sleeps and Arys had plans to make the dragon’s power his own. All who met the stranger said that he was a kind and polite. However, most would admit that he had an unsettling aura.

When the stranger was well and about to leave, the King asked the stranger to stay and be his chancellor. Arys agreed to help under the condition his identity remained unknown. He had found Tiamat’s lair and made a pact with him. This would be the perfect opportunity to give his new powers a test run. The other realms representatives did not approve of this decision but their opinion meant little to the king. As time went on, the King became secluded, no longer trusting of the other lands. Eventually, the king aimed to take control of all the lands and war again broke out. Outnumbering the King's army greatly, the other rulers did not fear defeat. That is, until they finally met on the battlefield. The king's army was one of ruthless killers. All were fearless, unforgiving, and did not stop until until his or his enemy's heart beat its last beat. At the head of the army was a giant black beast. The army decimated everything they came across. Seeing the destruction, all the countries agreed that the King must be stopped.

The rulers secretly held a meeting to discuss their options. After hours of debate, the oldest of the group reminded them of an old myth. Every generation there were those who are born with an old spirit. This spirit has unimaginable power and if the person is able to harness that power, they would become a legendary warrior. Seeing that there were no other options, the council decided to search for these individuals. After years of searching, they were able to find a handful of these warriors and with their power, they were able to finally defeat the army and kill the king.

However, no one was able to find the stranger who triggered all of this. It seemed that everyone who knew or served the man was either dead or had their memory of him wiped. The rulers only priority was to restore peace to the lands and they dismissed the idea of searching for the stranger.

Peace was returned and a new king was crowned. A millenium passes and not a ripple of unrest could be felt. Then one night Arys appeared once again with an attack upon the Elvin city of Elissid. With the power of Tiamat and the new army he has gathered. He plans to take not just his title back but to take all of Se’phir.

III. Please, no more than three characters. And thats only if you can handle them all.

IV. Please PM me if you decide to kill off a character so that I can update the Profiles.

V. Romance is encouraged but if clothes come off time skip. (Refer to rule 1.)

VI. Please treat each other with respect. If too much OOC drama happens I will ask for you to take it to another forum or ask you to leave.

VII. Please try to interact with multiple characters. If there is too much oneXone, I will ask you to either branch out or take it to another Forum.

VIII. Please send me your profile and await my response before you post.

IX. Put “I like pie” in the subject when sending profiles.

X. Please use third person. Sometimes it gets a little confusing otherwise.

XI. Please be Semi-lit. Now this mean you dont have to write a novel, but no one liners. I'm sure you could think of at least three sentences. See even I was able to do it. ^_^

XII. Please try to post as often as you can. If you will be gone for a long amount of time, please free any characters and PM me, or another mod to let me know.

XIII. Anyone who has not posted in a week and has not notified anyone will be removed from the RP.

XIV. Feel free to make your posts pretty but please don’t use hard to read colors.

A young Elvin man walks down a dirt path through the woods. His navy blue hair blew in the wind and his piercing ice blue eyes looked wearily at the continuing road. He sighed and walked to a nearby tree. He leaned against it and slid down it, sitting on the ground. I feel like I have been walking around in circles. I cant believe I got myself lost in these woods. He laughs a bit. Go figure, an elf that sucks at magic and gets lost in the woods. Wouldn't my father be proud? He smiles and leans his head against the tree. His mind drifted to his home and his family. His mother, father, and little sister. Lost in the memories, he slowly falls asleep.

A young kitsune lays his back against a tree panting, a large cloak wrapped around his body hiding all of his features except his long white hair and bits of his face. The boys ears lay flat against his head, completely missing the sound of the stranger walking through the forest not too far from him. Large drops of blood lay in a circle around the area he is sitting, signs of a struggle apparent in his demeanor. A large bulge holds the left side of his cloak up some, the abnormality being caused by the shaft of an arrow buried in his left shoulder. "So this is how it will end. Maybe I should have listened, but at the same time, I have never felt more alive." He grins a bit, wincing in pain from dozens of cuts, bruises, and wounds across his body. The boy lays his head back against the trunk of a tree, taking a deep breath, unsure how many he may have left.

As the young elf dreamed, the smell of blood nearby twisted his dreams into a nightmare. Flames surrounded him and he stood in a large puddle of his family's blood. He stood gripping his head screaming. When he opened his eyes a large black dragon stood before him. It lunged at him and he jerked himself awake. It took a few minutes to regain his composure. He wiped a tear that had escaped his eye during the dream but he could still smell the blood. Curious, he started to look around and noticed someone sitting just on the other side of the tree he was sitting under. He walked around and investigated the figure. Bright blue eyes peeked beneath silver hair. The figure seemed feminine and he began to wonder what would lead a girl out this far. he looked her over and noticed a great deal of blood around her. He rushed and began aid. 'My lady, my name is Saito and im here to help.' He examined the arrow first. It was a through and through. 'This is going to hurt.' He warned before breaking the arrow and pulling it out the other side. Afterwards, he pulled a handkerchief from his pocket and applied it to the wound to try to lessen the bleeding. 'Im going to have to treat this better but first I want to check for any other wounds' he said more as a warning before laying the stranger down and removing their cloak. Last thing he wanted was her trying to struggle because she thought he had ill intentions. He looked over the body and noticed many injuries from a struggle. Another thing came to his attention. This was a young kitsune boy. Not girl. His face turned slightly red from not just embarrassed from mistaking his gender but also he was slightly attracted to him. 'I-Im sorry..' Is all he could get out.

The boy grits his teeth, trying not to cry out in pain as the arrow shaft is removed from his shoulder. He glares at the person for a moment after noticing he was mistaken for a girl.....again. He stays silent as the man dresses the wound in his arm. Watching the man closely, happy that his hair fell forward to block his left eye, Yuuichi allows the stranger to remove his cloak and lay him down. He laughs a bit softly as he watches the man's cheeks turn a tinge pink. "Don't feel embarrassed. Your not the first to make that mistake. And I doubt you will be the last." Yuuichi says softly, his voice a bit light with a lilting edge. "My name is Yuuichi by the way. It is very nice to meet you Mister Saito. I guess I got a bit more roughed up than I thought. Thank you very much for helping me." He lays there with an appearance of calm on his face, something his former mistress had taught him well before he left, how to hide things even when in pain. He takes a deep breath as he lays there, careful not to move too much and upset Saito's work. "So, is it normal for your kind to help those you don't know? Or was it because you thought I was a damsel in distress?" He snickers a bit as he watches Saito's expression, wondering as to the reaction he would get.

Saito stared for a moment, stuck in a sense of shock, until the boy spoke. He finally diverted his eyes and moved to get his pack from the other side of the tree. Please, just call me Saito. You should really be more careful out here. He returned and dug out the aid supplies from his bag. He tended to Yuuichi's wounds trying to keep his mind straight. He recoiled away from him when Yuuichi asked why he helped. The red tinge he had been fighting flooded to his cheeks. I would never only help someone just because they were a girl. Its not just because I'm an Elf either. He looked away from the boy and regained his composure. It would bring me great dishonor if I did not help those in need. He continued to treat the wounds. A man is nothing without his honor. This was something his father beat into him. He was always told to think of the family name first.

Horehronie moved through the trees, each step careful and thought out, it had become habitual to her and as she moved it was more of a dance than a walk. She could hear something different on the wind, she had been listening to fighting before but it was silent now. She kept moving towards where the fighting had been, she felt as if she had some duty to help anyone who may be injured but still alive. She caught sight of the Kitsune. She lowered her body so she was crouching as she walked towards him, there was another there helping him. She kept low and still, watching as the interacted. They didn’t seem dangerous.

The boy's ears drop as well as his shoulders as his listens to Saito speak to him about being careful. The sound of being berated by his former master still fresh in his mind, even though he left almost a full year ago. "I-I'm sorry Saito." The sound of defeat hangs heavy in his voice as he looks at the Elf with a deep sadness welling in his eyes. Yuuichi sits up to make it easier on Saito to clean the wounds. He starts to grin a bit when he sees the red tinge back on Saito's cheeks, a bit of his playful nature coming back to the fore, the thoughts of sadness and regret vanishing immediately. "Your beginning to make me believe you would much rather me of been a female, especially with your denial. And didn't anyone ever tell you honor is dead? Anyway, wouldn't it tarnish your honor to help a lowly beast such as myself? After all, these wounds were caused due to being dishonorable."

She watched them all interact, they hadn’t noticed her, but besides her gold eyes and markings on her pale skin, she was wearing earthy clothes and her hair was green like the forest anyway. She was listening to it all and muttered. “Perhaps it is time to… reveal myself…” she said softly standing up straight. “I apologize for having spied, I was coming to see if anyone needed healing but saw that our friend here had it covered, so I watched to make sure you weren’t dangerous, Horehronie is my name, feel free to call me Eva though, it’s my last name, Evangeline.” She shrugged it off remaining a good distance from the group. “I just wanted to say I agree, the honorable will always check for injured as to offer assistance.”

The pink returned to Saito's cheeks at Yuuichi's tease. He opened his mouth to protest Yuuichi's comment about honor but he jumped when a voice appeared behind him. It was a small Fairy girl. He chuckled a little at the girl's abruptness. I would have to agree with the girl. And even if honor was dead, I would still uphold it. Just then another girl emerged from the woods. This girl was an Elvin girl. Saito laughed on the inside. So many people came to help the boy. It made him feel good and that he wasnt the only nice person in the world. Maybe it would show the young beast that people were more caring than what he believed. It also saved him from an uncomfortable situation. He smiled charmingly to the girls. Thank you for speaking up. Nice to meet you Ladies. I'm Saito Kadama.

Smiling inwardly to himself Yuuichi stands and bows to the newcomers. "My name is Yuuichi. It is very nice to meet you." He stretches a bit, and winces in pain from his left shoulder. Picking up his cloak and wrapping it tightly about him, he closes his eyes, chanting softly to himself. Casting an illusion on himself, he walks up behind Saito seductively, his facial features appearing a bit more feminine than before. The kitsune lets his cloak fall to the ground, his body now making him appear to be a girl instead of a boy. "Mister Saito? How about now? Is this what you were hoping was under the cloak when you saved me?" His voice takes on a higher pitch than before, making the illusion complete to sound like a teenage girl. Yuuichi's cheeks turn a bit red as it dawns on him his little prank isn't only being done to Saito, but infront of a pair of women that he just introduced himself to.

As Yuuichi stands up Saito gathers his aid supplies and puts them back into his bag. He stands and places his bag at the base of the tree. Behind him, where Yuuichi would be, came a voice of a young girl. He turned, seeing Yuuichi now appearing as an attractive girl. The red in his cheeks was brighter than ever and he pressed himself against the tree, making as much distance as he could between him. Truthfully that was exactly what he was expecting under the cloak before but he wasnt hoping for it. However seeing it now made his head feel quite confused. It didnt help that before as a boy, Yuuichi's top was an opened vest and now it was barely covering the newly developed chest. Y-Yuuichi? W-What are you doing? How are you doing this? He couldnt bare to look at him. Just then Yuuichi's cheeks went pink when he remembered the other girls and it added to the attractiveness to him. Saito couldnt bare it and quickly turned his back to him. P-Please, return to your original form. He said assuming that the male form was the original.

Yuuichi watches Saito's reaction curiously. Laughing a bit, the boy turned girl walks up behind Saito and wraps her slender arms around Saito's waist. "I'm guessing you don't fully like what you see?" Her voice carries with sorrow and disappointment as she hugs him from behind. Yuuichi whimpers a bit and allows the illusion to drop and his body to return to normal. He lets go of Saito and walks around in front to face him again. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bother you that much." With his tail still lowered in sadness, the boy looks towards the pair of females, remembering what they said about how it is honorable to assist those in need. He thinks about all the stories that his master had people write with a special ink so that he could read them as his vision started fading. The stories about people in times long ago and the pain and suffering that happened because of others. "If honor truly does exist, and to do what Saito did, and the two of you would have done. Then why is there so much pain and suffering in this world? Forgive me for not seeing how honor and compassion even exist anymore." His voice takes a rough edge versus its usual lilting sound as tears start to well in his eyes, both from sadness and anger.

Saito's heart jumped as Yuuichi's arms wrapped around his waist. He could feel her chest pressing against his back and it made his chest race. Saito has never been this close to a female before and he did not know how to act. The whole situation was confusing to him. Then the chest pressing against his back went flat and Yuuichi moved in front of him. Saito was trembling slightly from the adrenaline flowing through his body but when he saw the sadness in Yuuichi's eyes, he calmed. Saito realized his actions hurt Yuuichi's feelings. His shoulders drooped in shame. N-no I liked what I saw. Wait, that came out wrong. I-I just dont know how to deal with females. Yuuichi had turned to the girls and spoke. He looked towards the girls, curious what they might say. Saito then noticed another presence. His teeth gritted as he noticed it was a demon presence, a close enemy to most Elves. Elves and Demons were once said to be from the same line, but the Demons chose to follow a dark path and separate from the Elves. The two are now usually dont get along. With his military training he caught glimpse of the demon hiding in the darkness and Saito glared fiercely at him.

“Pleasure to meet you,” Was all she said in response to his name being shared, the other there was a shape-shifter what his normal form seemed to be though was male. She rubbed her hands to together, the small white ball in her hands pulsed with blue and she held it out. “Nothing fancy but it should help some…” It was just an orb of healing magic. She had noticed the other figure and merely muttered “odd,” before turning away from them, the orb remained floating where she had held it, for him to use if he chose to. “So… you seem to have enough help as it is, I will be on my way.” She couldn’t help but shake her head about it all, she wasn’t wearing a cloak but the earthy shirt had a hood and she pulled this over her face. She would walk off unless she was spoken to before that. Heading towards the one who had seemed to be stalking them before letting them know he was there and walk off.

Watching the woman closely, Yuuichi's eyes widen a bit as she creates an orb of healing. Moving forward a bit tentatively, he reaches out towards the orb, feeling warmth emanating from it. He recoils from it a bit instead of touching it and looks back at the woman, the magic reminding him of his master. "M-Miss, where are you from if I may be so bold to ask?" The boy shivers a bit before reach forward and finally touching the orb, the healing magic taking effect as soon as he makes contact. As the healing magic runs through his body, Yuuichi clenches his eyes closed as well as his teeth, a small growl making itself heard from his throat. "Why can't I get used to that feeling.....not like I haven't had that happen at least a few dozen times." He moves towards the woman, watching her, wondering where she could be from and if she knows his former master.

She turned “I’m from Ozryn, what about yourself?” she kept her voice soft as she spoke. He had seemed timid of the orb but then he mentioned having done it quite a few times. She had never really been bothered by the sensation healing magic gave. He had moved towards her and she actually took another step defensively away from him, he had been way too touchy feeling with the other male, whilst in a female form, that she wasn’t exactly wanting him to hang on her next. Even if he seemed to be serious right now and not be acting so playful, which was somewhat comforting to the Elvin girl. She couldn’t help but wonder why he was so curious about her, yet she didn’t care, she had nothing to hide about herself as far as she knew.

As the woman steps back from him defensively, Yuuichi stops moving towards her, a little saddened by her response to him. "I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be a bother to you. As for my home....I don't have one any more. My master and I got into an argument and it hurts too much to stay there. It seems all I am is a burden to her." His voice starts to soften as he speaks, the last part barely audible as he starts to choke up and fight off the tears. Subconsciously, he reaches up and runs his left index finger across the side of his left eye, checking to make sure the healing orb didn't have an adverse effect on his blinded eye. The boy looks at the Elvin girl, hoping he hasn't offended her, but feeling he probably did, just like he had everyone else. After all, he must look or be offensive in some manner, his own parents gave him up shortly after birth because he has a bad eye.

She could see he was offended by her pulling away and actually felt bad about it. She took a step towards him, unable to hide that she did feel sympathetic for him. “Sorry it was instinctive, and I’m sorry about your home too.” With how he was acting she was actually contemplating offering to travel with him, she had no destination in mind and even with the others there she felt like offering him company more permanent than passing strangers. She tried to think of what to do but all she did was put a hand on his head, as if petting him. She didn’t know if it was insulting but her mother had done it to comfort her a few times, so she was attempting to do the same for him.

The boy shivers a little at the touch, unsure of her intentions. A few moments pass and he visibly relaxes up to the point that he actually starts to rub the top of his head against her hand. "No worries." Without thinking, Yuuichi steps back from the woman and moves his hair out of his face, revealing that his eyes didn't match in color, the left one having a grey color to it and the right being blue. "It is very nice to meet you Lady Eva." He bows formally to her as he had been taught in the past, his tail wrapping about his waist. He looks at her, his right eye focusing intently on her while his left seems to look through her. Ears perking up, Yuuichi quickly glances off the the side where the demon was, his mind finally registering the sound he heard. His lips twitch a bit and he smells the demon, a growl coming up from his throat again. "Daemon....." As his body fully tenses, Yuuichi shivers, coming back to himself to look at Eva. "Forgive my rudeness please, Lady Eva. And you may call me Naoki if you like" He smiles widely at her, his cheeks turning a tinge red.

Saito watched the interaction between the other Elf and Yuuichi. He too was a bit curious about the girl's origins. He knew she wasnt noble. He would have recognized her, and probably would have had her parents throw her at him. His face made a sickening scowl at the second thought. He hated the parties his parents would throw in order to find a bride for him. Other nobles would practically throw their daughters into his bed just to get his father's favor. He hated it and is probably one reason he is so uncomfortable with girls. So she was from Ozryn...He never really visited that town before. Yuuichi was looking so adorable too. He smiled cheerfully as he thought of his little sister.
