Watching me? No way! D: I am a mega wuss. I had considered filming my reaction to playing Slender, but, I never did :P

Cyndel 04-30-2013 03:28 AM

lol I get a kick out of watching people play Fatal Frame on Youtube. This one guy actually screamed, threw his controller, and then ran out of the room. XD

PWEEP 04-30-2013 03:29 AM

I like watching Pewdiepie and yamimash on Youtube. ^^ Pewdie's videos are usually great, and yamimash I just like to listen to with his pretty little accent <3

Cyndel 04-30-2013 03:31 AM

I can't remember who I was watching... >.>;

But, I am in dire need of a shower, so I think I'm going to go wash all the dust off of me... XD; I've done a lot of cleaning today. lol.

PWEEP 04-30-2013 03:32 AM

That sounds like a good idea. I'm in need of a shower, too!

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 05:06 AM

I must remember to subscribe to threads I want to find again!! >.<

How's everyone's tuesday arvo going?

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 05:12 AM

Erm... I'll let you know in an hour and a half kay? *looks at clock* It's monday at the moment

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 05:19 AM

Gah time zones got me again! *slaps forehead* I'll remember one of these days. *blush* Had a good Monday then?

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 05:39 AM

Little bit... not too good of a day just sort of a blah day

Hows the future?

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 05:42 AM

Lol, the future..love it. Yeah pretty good, a quiet one for me though, not doing much as I've got a bit of a smegger of a headache, though I think the pain killers are kicking in as the pain is slowly going away. Got a busy day tomorrow though as I'm heading to the studio tomorrow and am hoping to dye.

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 06:03 AM

Ah headaches are no fun...
I honestly don't remember the last time I took headache medicine...

I've got what could be called a "semi-permanent headache" XD

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 06:27 AM

Lol Semi-permanant headache....I guess I have one too also known as husband. [:P]
Headaches are definetly no fun, I've got to be careful as the last thing I want is for it to turn into a migraine as that could wipe me out for the next 3 or so days. *thinks positive* Not going to happen! :D

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 06:33 AM

Aww :( he gives you headaches?

Mine is hearing and smell based... there is constantly SOMETHING causing my head to hurt...
Going out in the wilderness (which there is very little of here) is utter bliss... but it requires walking.

I was tested in 7th grade and I was told that I had the highest hearing they had measured for. (Basically I can hear much lower and much higher than the average person) So basically I'm stuck hearing the high pitched sounds normal people who invent stuff can't hear...

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 06:38 AM

Lol nah he's a good fella, wouldn't change him for the world...even if he does leave his re-enactment stuff in inconvient places some times.

Mines not smell based but I understand the hearing side. We've got things that can be attached to the front of cars called "Shoo Roo's" which emits a sound at a high enough level that will only effect Kangaroo's, Wallabies, dogs and some other mamals to keep them away from the roads as you're driving to prevent them being hit. It's awful, I can hear them and it greats on the head alot. The down side of living in the country is almost every 2nd car has one. Not fun.

But yes getting out into the wilderness both scent and sound wise would be heaven. I'm guessing you live a bit of a distance from it though for walking to it to be a problem?

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 06:44 AM

re-enactment stuff?

Gosh... my partner can actually hear dog whistles I could only imagine the torture it would be for her... (and I don't even want to know if I can hear those XD)

Nah I'm just lazy but it's simply a park... problem is... smokers for who the hell knows what reason like to SMOKE IN THE FOREST... and I have a lot of problems with smokers in the forest... o.o one of them is related to my health...

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 06:53 AM

Ugh I wouldn't want to hear a dog wistle either...I send my sympathy!! No fun.

I wonder a lot about places people choose to smoke, it makes the mind boggle and sometimes I wonder if given the opportunity would they smoke under water. Bleh.... can't force people to stop though, people have to want to quit to be successfull at it so until that day I avoid the areas also. Thankfully I live a long a river so I can find a bit of piece and quiet thankfull smoke free if I need one. Hope you find a little bit of sanctuary also that's smoke free.

Yeah the hubby and I are part of a local re-enactment group....basically we re-live history. I'm constantly tripping over chainmaile, swords and helmets especially when we come back from putting on a display with the group. It's alot of fun though and great to live the way they did back in history.

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 06:57 AM

Sorry... smoking underwater has already been done >.<"

Thankfully nobody I know smokes. I can't bring myself to befriend a smoker no matter how nice they are. Given my condition (whatever it is) a smoker will probably half my lifespan...

Ooh that sounds like it would be fun to do XD
Oh my stubbing a toe on a sword would be painful indeed... sharp or not... o.o pointy stuff is never fun to bump into

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 07:09 AM

Someone has smoked underwater! o.O How did I miss that!!

Fair enough, you've got to look after your health and if a smoker would cause you risk it is wise to stear clear, completely understandable. I am guessing they haven't quiet figgured out what your condition is though...I hope someone can finsd out soon so they can get you on the best treatment so you can live with a bit less stress.

It is a lot of fun to do. We do two different periods in time. We do 56bc gaulic celts era called Keltoi and we also do the Viking period as well Both are alot of fun and a great experience. The Viking side of it is a lot easier not because its further along in history but because there is alot more information on the vikings, their clothing, life styles equipment etc. The Gaulic Celts in around 56bc (the time of the roman Julis ceasar) there is not as much. But we manage and still have alot of fun. The weekends we go out and do a historical camps are the best. Everything is period correct and it's an absolute ball! Cameras are alowed though as we love taking photos of what we get up to!

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 07:14 AM

I dunno I forget where I saw it but they've honestly done everything underwater these days...

Doctor didn't even try to figure it out. Just labeled me paranoid and continued as if he didn't even hear me ask. I mean I've got a bloody problem yknow? XD I mean... if you hacked a lung after a mile of running every time most of your life you'd be concerned too right? [lol] I already know the problem they just wont listen... >.< stupid doctors...

Interesting... it's like a historical LARP O.o
Do you try to re-enact wars and stuff? Or just lifestyle?

Man too bad you don't live anywhere near me, I'd say go see my Doc, she's fantastic and would go through absoluelty everything to find out what's causing the trouble. She's brilliant.

It's more historical than LARPing as we do focus on the life style of the time period from tents to food, hunting, harvest, preserving meat and hides, hobbies and training to even making the clothes and jewelry they way they did. We were lucky enough two years ago during the massive timeline festival, our group went representing the Keltoi and we managed to catch up with an interstate group of romans under julius cesar and we had a ball...doing camp raids, trading etc it was epic!!
They didn't make it last year so we went as the vikings then.

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 07:34 AM

Interesting that really sounds like fun >w< not to participate in but to be like the photographer for.

Ah yeah I have a friend actually who their doctor I swear he was an idiot who stuck her on conflicting drugs o.o they were really dangerous together and everything... ended up thankfully getting her to wean herself off of them as soon as she could...
When pills make you forget entire days... they aren't helping...

For me... honestly I've done such extensive research that I already know almost everything I have.
I have an effed up pair of lungs, a heart that acts weird (only thing I don't know yet), Psoriasis, Apnea (not sleep apnea but almost all my awake breathing is manual, so if I think too hard I stop breathing), and a few other things.

Most of it I can deal with but you'd think that having had pneumonia as a baby would have peaked concern when I mentioned my lungs o.o especially given that's what is going to kill me when I get older most likely...

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 07:40 AM

Damn...thats all I can say. I can just imagine the hell some of your days must be like from a nursing side of things. But I can imagine your frustration.

Conflicting drugs!! Was that Doctor registered or what!? A law suit waiting to happen for sure, thankfully your friend had someone looking out for her other wise things would have gotten nasty.

*hugs* Ah well, you're not old yet so live life as best you can!! :D

The Wandering Poet 04-30-2013 08:35 AM

My health has been ok lately but if i breathe chemicals or anything strong i risk a coughing fit. If anything is stuck in my lungs oh gosh i changed a filter once and I coughed for days....

Yeah was a real one. Doctors also managed to kill my exwifes mom because they werent careful. I mean i swear this world is full of people who just dont care

I try. Just gotta avoid perfume, cleaner, smokers, candles, make-up, nail polish, cologne, deodorant, and other such things that choke me.

Goodnight. Im exhausted

Phantomsangel 04-30-2013 11:49 AM

Good morning to all!!!!

Phoenixphyre 04-30-2013 11:56 AM

*wanders back in* Hey all just popping my head in, won't be on for long as I am waiting for the hubby to come home from work.

Sorry I missed you Wandering, have a good rest and see you tomorrow sometime.
