"Sure, go right ahead." Tony grinned briefly. "Sleep as long as you want and I'll get Happy to take you home after dinner."

"Thanks, Tony," Maeve said. She fought back a yawn and headed out of the workshop, searching for one of the elusive guest rooms. She finally ended up asking Jarvis where to find one, and somehow made it into a real bed before she passed out again.

Tony ordered food from out and set it in the kitchen before getting Jarvis to wake up Maeve so she wouldn't miss out.

"Miss Maeve. It is time to wake up. Mister Stark has said that "if you don't get up now Thor and Steve will eat all the food and then you'll have to forage through the leftovers that Clint is turning into science experiments that are barely science"."

Maeve groaned and burrowed deeper into the wonderfully soft pillows on the bed. She didn't want to get up. But she knew that Tony was right about Thor and Steve eating all the food, so she managed to drag herself out of bed and make herself presentable. Then she grabbed Ditto and motioned for her other pokemon to follow her.

By the time Maeve got up there, everyone else had been summoned to dinner, and Julie was making two plates; one for herself, and one for Maeve. In case she didn't make it before Thor and Steve, who were at the back of the line.

Maeve made it to the kitchen before the food was gone, and she was pleased about that. She was even more pleased that Julie had saved her some.

"Thanks," she said as she sat down next to her friend. Ditto trilled from her shoulder.

"No problem." Julie grinned at her. "You're looking better. Although you'll look even better after you eat."

"Sleep works miracles," Maeve said as she gave a piece off her plate to Ditto. "Good food works even more."

"Yup." Julie settled in to eat her dinner, feeding bits to Vulpix and Electrike. Altaria and Typhlosion had been fed earlier.

As soon as Ditto was cheerfully nibbling away, Maeve put it on her chair and got up to make sure Gardevoir and Chandelure were squared away. Then she moved Ditto and sat back down to eat. She'd barely taken two bites when Ditto nudged her for more scraps. When she didn't respond right away, it huffed and turned itself into a Gulpin, opening its mouth wide and poking her more insistently. Clearly, she had already started to spoil it, and it was taking advantage.

Dinner was quiet for a bit until everyone had some food in them, and then it was boisterous. Julie didn't mind though, just grinning as she listened in on the conversation.

Once Maeve had satisfied Ditto with bits from her plate, the pokemon went to go investigate all the other pokemon in the room. It had seen most of the species before, but it looked curious when it saw Steve's Shieldon and morphed into a copy. Maeve just grinned when she noticed.

"What is it?" Steve asked when he noticed.

"A Ditto," Maeve said. "It can turn into any other pokemon it's seen before. I don't think it's ever met a Shieldon, though, which doesn't surprise me."

"Oh I bet it's going to have fun here," Julie said with a grin. "Between here and the Helicarrier I bet it'll see almost every pokemon."

"I had to be debriefed by the Director before we could leave the Helicarrier," Maeve said, grinning a bit. "I always forget just how massive Volcarona is."

"Oh I bet Ditto just loved that," Julie said with a grin. "So how grumpy was Fury this time?"

"Not unreasonably so," Maeve replied. "I mean, the mission was successful. We did what we were supposed to without any mishaps." She grinned a bit. "He wasn't so pleased about Ditto not wanting to go with the others to be evaluated, but since it seems fine with me, he let it slide."

"One of these days we need to make that plaque," Julie said with a brief grin. "Proof that Nick Fury isn't quite as much of a hard-ass as he'd like people to believe."

Maeve snickered.

"I still need to figure out how to slip a Jolly Rodger flag onto his desk without being noticed," she said. "Nobody's ever gotten one further than the outside of the door before."

"You need a Coulson distraction," Clint piped up. "Or ask Coulson to do it. He can get anything in that office and Fury wouldn't notice for a while because he wouldn't be looking for it."

"Fury is always looking for those flags," Maeve pointed out. She grinned. "And I honestly think it's Coulson's fault. Rumor has it he planted the very first one and started the whole thing."

Julie snickered while Clint shook his head.

"Nah, it wasn't Coulson that started it," he said with a big, shit-eating grin. "It was Hill. She's devious."

Maeve paused.

"Hill? No way," she said. "She's so... uptight."

"That's what you think," Clint said, grinning and waggling his eyebrows.

Maeve couldn't help but snicker.

"I can't imagine Hill doing that," she said. She grinned. "And now I really have to get the flag into Fury's office somehow."

"Good luck." Clint grinned.

Julie just snorted and shook her head.
