Steve waited anxiously as the medic checked Julie over. After a moment, something else crossed his mind and he touched his comm link.

"Is everyone alright?" he asked the others.

"Everyone else is fine, Cap," Clint said from his perch up high. "Tony took off with Maeve. How is Julie?"

The medic called over another medic, busy taking Julie's pulse and checking her pupil response.

"She's being looked at now," Steve replied. He wasn't surprised Tony had taken off with Maeve. It was obvious the genius liked her.

"Need any help?" Clint asked. Thor was already gone with Doom, and Natasha and Bruce were helping with clean up.

"I think I'm fine for now," Steve replied. "I'll let you know if I need a hand, though. For now, check in with Coulson if you can."

"Will do." Clint left to go find and check in with Coulson.

The medics sat back and the first one looked at Steve.

"She'll be okay. She has a pretty bad concussion, so she'll likely be nauseous and disoriented for a while. Just let her sleep it off. I don't see any evidence of broken bones at this point."

Steve nodded.

"I'll keep an eye on her," he said, gently picking Julie up. He figured she was in no condition to try to walk.

"Expect bruising, though," the medic warned him. "Probably quite a bit of bruising. Try to keep her down as much as possible."

Steve nodded.

"Will do," he replied. "Thanks for your help."

The medic nodded, moving away. Julie groaned quietly, closing her eyes as the world tilted and swayed dangerously.

Steve held her carefully and took her to the waiting Qinjet.

"Let's get you home," he said softly to her.

Julie groaned quietly, though she relaxed a bit when Typhlosion and Altaria found her again and followed Steve. She did blink when Growlithe bounced after Steve too, looking like she'd run through a bunch of rubble.

"How'd you get out?" she mumbled. "Bad girl. S'posed to stay inside."

"Arcanine looked after her," Steve commented quietly as his massive pokemon joined them.

"Well, that's better than her trying to tackle a Doombot on her own," Julie said quietly, closing her eyes again. She had to grab onto his shirt when she felt dizzy, though.

"Just rest," Steve said softly to her. "We'll be back to the tower soon so you can relax and work on healing."

Julie stayed quiet as he carried her, up until they got back to the tower. By then she was looking faintly green.

"Bathroom," she directed, making a vague gesture.

Steve looked slightly alarmed as he nodded and got her to the bathroom. He set her down there gently.

Julie shooed him out of the bathroom and shut the door pointedly. She was going to be quietly miserable for a while now.

She even locked the door so she'd be able to be sick in peace for the next twenty minutes or so.

Steve stood uneasily by the door for a few minutes or so. Then he left Typhlosion and Altaria to keep an eye on her while he went to another bathroom to clean up some.

Julie ended up being herded over to a couch with some help and made to sit there. She was already starting to feel sore, and she could see the beginning of bruises already.

Tony, meanwhile, was still sitting by Maeve, waiting for her to wake up. The broken ribs they could only bind, but the leg they'd set and put in a cast. Now he just had to wait her for to wake up so he could see how she was really doing.

Maeve's eyes fluttered a bit as her shallow breathing changed a bit and she woke up. She groaned a bit and looked around.

Steve had brought Julie a mug of tea, setting it beside her.

"Easy does it," Tony said quietly, looking at her. "You're fine. You're in the tower."

"Thanks." Julie was a little hoarse, and she took a sip of the tea, cradling it in her hands. Growlithe hopped up to sit next to her.

"Is everyone alright?" Maeve asked, taking a small breath in the middle of the question.

"No problem," Steve replied. "Just rest and relax."

"Far as I know," Tony said with a shrug. "I think Julie got hit, but Cap's taking care of her, and everyone else is fine."

Julie nodded and tried to relax. She looked up when Growlithe growled at Clint, stepping on Julie's leg to properly growl at the archer.

Clint looked briefly surprised. "Everyone else is back and fine," he told Steve. "No civilian casualties, so the only two who got hurt are her and Maeve. Coulson's been informed."

Maeve nodded and relaxed back on the couch, closing her eyes again. "Everything aches..."

"Thanks," Steve said. One less thing for him to worry about, then.
