I never knew where lake Tahoe was honestly. I've never been there and I only ever heard of it in passing.

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 05:55 PM

Tahoe is on the California Nevada border in Northern California - I live pretty close to Tahoe, on the California side of the border - but not really there, but close enough to drive over there for a day trip and not spend too much time in the car. :)

Sounds like fun! I'll have to consider it for when I visit Las Vegas next time. Maybe make a detour on the way there.

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 06:04 PM

Pretty sure that Las Vegas is quite a distance from Tahoe - Reno is closer to Tahoe than Las Vegas is.

@ Rebecca It's weird cause in the middle of January we had this one week of warmth and sunshine... then the snow came back @@ It's still snowing but hopefully it warms up soon! :P

@Livi I was under the impression that all of California was warm and sunny as well :x Learn something new everyday! [lol] Also... I'm the youngest of my immediate family so I always annoy my sisters hehe it's what we're supposed to do :D

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 06:10 PM

Lyn: Just shows how much people believe TV shows and movies. [sweat]
How many siblings do you have? :) I've just got one younger sister and then an older brother. (I also have a younger twin but he passed away over 6 years ago)
So I annoy my older brother. *laughs* It's fun to do! :P

I'd be coming from Washington, so I would stop off before I went all the way down there.

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 06:18 PM

Ah, that makes sense. =] That'd work. =]

rebeccarave 02-09-2013 06:20 PM

That is an awesome picture!

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 06:20 PM

It is - but I can't wait for the snow to be gone! O.o I'm tired of it! Haha!

LYN 02-09-2013 06:31 PM

I'm sorry to hear about your loss >< & I have two other sisters (twins) and no brothers :P Did you ever feel middle child synfrome? [lol]

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 06:34 PM

Not really - because growing up, I always had someone who was my age, and I actually did get along with my older brother as well, and our parents did all they could to try not to like one of us over the others. I don't feel like I did anyways.

LYN 02-09-2013 06:42 PM

[lol] that's good :)

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 06:45 PM

It probably helped too that I had a twin who I was close to for almost 21 years - I'm sure that was a factor into it too. =]

LYN 02-09-2013 07:04 PM

[lol] I always felt left out because my sisters are twins! When I was a kid, I made my cousin promise to be my twin hehe! btw.. are you currently pregnant? (your signature x) I'm sorry if this sounds weird!)

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 07:32 PM

Awww, that sucks! Did your cousin agree to be your 'twin'? And yeah, I am. [yes]

LYN 02-09-2013 07:37 PM

[lol] I forced her to be >:) & Congrats!! :) Are you excited?

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 07:39 PM

Haha, that's great! My little sister didn't like that she didn't have any cool nicknames for me like Carlie (my twin) did - so we came up with our own so she'd not feel left out, and to this day, despite the fact that she's now 19, we still use those names. *chuckles* She's Becs, and I'm Lils. [:P]

Well, his daddies are excited - I'm pregnant for a gay couple who're friends of ours. I'm excited to actually sleep at night without getting kicked and bumped from little Benji.

rebeccarave 02-09-2013 07:41 PM

That's such a wonderful thing to do :)

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 07:42 PM

Just felt like the right thing to do. :)

rebeccarave 02-09-2013 07:45 PM

If you don't mind my asking, did you all pick the day he would be born in advance or was it just a statement from the doctor?

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 07:49 PM

You mean his due date? That's based on what size he is, and his growth rate. I'm not a fan of C-sections (never had one and hopefully never will have to), and I told the boys that up front, because they were talking about it, and I told them that if it came down to it and his health was at risk and to save him - I'd be ok with it... but other than that, I'm not going for that. So he'll come when he comes.

LYN 02-09-2013 07:50 PM

[lol] I think it's hard to stop calling people by their nicknames after a while ^^ I can't stop calling a friend of mine "Coffee" (her name is Kathy) cause my parents call her that (Kathy sounds really close to Coffee in Cantonese lol [lol])

I think it's you're great for doing that :)

LiviInLove 02-09-2013 07:52 PM

I totally agree! I still throw people off as there are times that I will call my twin random nicknames - usually Carlie - when talking about him to people. His name was really Oliver -- Olivia and Oliver. =] I've called him Carlie before, and people go "wait, I thought your twin was male?" and I am like "Yeah, he was." [XD] HAHA!

And haha, that's great! Sometimes those are fun though - nicknames that only you and the person get that make others go O.o when you call that person by that name.

rebeccarave 02-09-2013 07:58 PM

@Livi - yes, due date. The term escaped me. Whoops :)
