Then when you finish he can have found their just regular ponies and are not after the elements of harmony and intend to just try a brute force fight and return to thorn.. Cruelty. >.> also to be clear those who embody the evil elements don't have to be cruel/evil/etc. They just have to have suffered an act of great cruelty/deception/etc that allowed the wizard to manipulate them and drive them mad to become his elements

Well they aren't really evil per say XD. Just lost, lonely, broken little souls that are being manipulated by an evil warlock with mind control spells and physical torture skills >.>...... They have been convinced they are getting their proper vengeance on the world that spurned them in life.

@Kina: Me too. I liked the twist on it ^.^ . Like I said, it's not that they have to be anything other then the one point of suffering. Anything else is entirely to the creators imagination and I like how you played with it really ^.^ . It's really fun.

I might let the evils mill around the warlock's castle for a bit as thorn hears rumors of the elements of harmony and researches them to figure out where the good guys will be next so she can attack them. edit: @killia: Lol it's okay *hugs* if we're missing an evil element it's fine. Hell if worst comes to worst we can just have cruelity be 'defeated/turned back to normal' and then if someone comes along that wants to play it they can pick up the element of cruelty since for the ele's of destruction to be destroyed and the curse lifted all dark ele ponies must be cured and find the goodness in their own hearts xD. |

I think I like the idea of the Disharmonies at the castle at first. It gives us a chance to have them all interact right away. Oh, and I forgot, I have a couple of questions. You said the Alicorns were originally non-ponies. Do merponies count towards that, or do I have to pick something else? Also, you had mentioned at some point that the Alicorns' talent should relate to their element, yet you have Thorn, our first example, with the talent of earth magic... I am a bit confused as to what to do about that. Can I keep Sonata and Skel's talents (emotional influence through music and stealth) as is, or should I change them?

@kage: No, i must have put that badly. Their talents don't have to fit their element. Their personalities do for the good guys (can't have a habitual liar be honesty type of thing). You can keep them. Sorry for being confusing XD. |

Oh that... Hmm......... I dunno >.< . They are technically a pony species and it kinda says non pony species...... but then again hippogriffs no one is sure what they are (pony or griffin sub species) and i'm allowing them due to the uncertainty of their origins as well as them lacking the three pony separate species mimicry). >.>........ so it'd make more sense and be easier if you didn't but if you really, really want to I suppose we could change them to instead of being a pony species actually a fish species that merely adapted/evolved a pony like appearance and ability for survival reasons and so they could go on land while still blending in with the land ponies.
edit: Ie. I can tweak what the merponies truly are so you can be them if you wish to make them merponies so it really comes down to you. |

Are you sure? I never decided the origin of the merponies so it would take less then five minutes to change their description. Them being kinda chameleon fish would match their secretive origins more in away anyway.

Are you sure? Because I'm leaning towards doing it anyway, so it's really no bother. I think the whole chameleon fish sounds cool now...... maybe they started as something eellike? hmmm.. xD. Though it's true there's no gryffons left.
Edit: well there's several types that are playable XD. Mini dragons/elemental $dragons/feather (pony sized dragons basically. The mini dragons are just mini dragons, the elementals are natural elemental, wind or fire or water ect, and the feathered dragons are feathery)... I know the one former dragon evil pony is an ele dragon but she hasn't said what kind. |
Hai, I am sure, I like the imagery I have for what they would have looked like. I do think it would be very interesting if the Merponies were not ponies at all, though.
Kilia, there are only two neutral characters, perhaps your dragon can be part of the guardians as well? I know you did not want to play an Element of Destruction, so that might be a good fit. Though from what I understand, you can be a Seeker without being one of the Elements, too. |
Yup you can be a seeker without being an element as some just beleive in the seeker's ideal of curing the ponies and want to help them but aren't destined to weild an element. that's crystal so far but others could.
And yes, i liked the idea so now my races of merpon are "an underwater species that appear to be a race of pony but actually come from a chameleon type, hyper intelligent and magical fish that was dying out long ago. They slowly evolved this way in order to save their race for reasons long lost to history." Of course the fact they did so in order to blend in with the magor races of earth and sky suggest there's probably some other race of merpony too >.> |
hmm well i have to figure out what type of dragon first lol and then i shall figure out if he or she shall be a dishormony or neutral or whatever lol
