Sorry for not answering earlier, but I was at a con, and ended up sleeping for quite a bit afterwards to recover. [oops] But I'm here now! I hope everything works out well. |
No worries. I know how that is. Cons always manage to thrash me. No matter how many times I tell myself that I'm going to leave at a decent hour and such, I end up staying til 2am or so, getting up early to go back the next day, forgetting to eat until dinner time or later, etc (coupled with the fact that they involve SO MUCH WALKING)...so, yeah, cons and post con recovery is something I am intimately familiar with.

And yeah, cons are just so energy draining. I stayed up way later than I should have on Saturday on top of doing far more than I should have. It wouldn't have been so terrible if I hadn't been floating on the wonderful feeling of no pain from drinking more than I should at the time. Not enough to go blackout, but enough that I just didn't feel the fibromyalgia. I'm just glad the con is filled with so many lovely people. I was walked back to my room by two guys and a girl, and they made sure I made it to my bed safely. And then they came to check up on me Sunday morning, returning something I shoved in the girl's hand, having told her cheerfully to keep it. It was a hairband I had just got, and would have been sad to lose [oops]. Cons are so fun, though! |
