"I didn't ask for your input you freak."
She clenched her fists, white knuckled. Don't make me get up jerkface.... |
"Stop calling me that." Mel glared and clenched a hand into a fist. "You don't want to make me angry. Let's just kill him and get it over with. He's still just a boy..killing isn't the answer.
"I wouldn't..." He rubbed D's back. "I don't need him hurting you after what happened that time in dueling." |
"Why? It's what you are... A.. freak..."
"Tch.. I kicked his ass..." |
She twitched a little and swung her fist up and clocked him in the jaw. "I'm tired of your crap. I'm tired of you picking on harry and you're lucky you picked D in that duel instead of me. If I ever see you bothering my friends again you're going to regret it."
|
He yelped and clutched his face. "J-j-just wait until my father hears about this!" he scrambled to his feet and ran off.
"....Mel..." |
"You better run!" Mel called after him. Once the coast was clear and bent over and shook her hand. "Ow! Son of a...." She blinked and looked back at D. "What? He started it...and he wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
Fred's jaw dropped and blinked. "Did she just...?" |
"Okay Hulk..... yes, yes she did..."
He cleared his throat, "Well, that was certainty... interesting...." |
"That may have been mostly Kayko, too." Mel sat back down next to Harry, rubbing her hand. "Ow...I may way to get it checked when we go back." She smiled a bit and tilted her head. "We shouldn't be bothered by him..at least by the rest of the train trip."
Fred peeked into the hallway watching Malfoy run away as other people peeked out of the cabins too. "That's certainly going to be a story once we get back to school..maybe almost as much as the whole duel thing." |
"Well, that's good at least..." He frowned, taking her hand, looking it over. "Are you alright?"
"Hey! Mel isn't allowed to steal my thunder..." She mock pouted. |
Her cheeks darkened a little and shifted, staring at the ground. "I'm ok..." She looked at their hands and smiled. "I've had worse.."
"Now..now..You had your turn. It was her turn." Fred kissed her forehead and looked over at Harry and Mel. "They're taking their time.." |
He smiled softly. "I'm glad you're alright...."
She cleared her throat. "Should we leave you two alone, or are you guys okay now...? |
"I'm pretty tough.." She smiled. "Unless I'm in the dark...or there's a bug around..or clowns." She looked over at Fred and D. "......"
"Maybe we should leave them alone..I did see the snack cart go by." Fred raised his eyebrow and chuckled a little. |
She smirked and moved to get up again, blinking at her friend innocently.
He coughed. "Uh..." |
"I will escort you to the snack cart, mi'lady." He held out his arm and smiled, ready to lead her out of the little cabin.
She coughed and rubbed her head with her free hand. "G-Get me a chocolate frog....?" |
He froze. Th-they're serious? They're actually leaving? Wait... I didn't.... what? "I... um.... me too...."
She smirked and took his arm, giggling softly. |
"We'll be right back." Fred laughed and waved his hand, walking down the aisle. "Well that was fun. I'm not sure if it was a good idea. We may have just embarrassed them..but that was funny."
Mel watched them leave and turned her attention back to Harry. "Are you alright? Harry...?" She leaned closer and waved her other hand in front of his face. "Hello~?" |
"I-I'm fine." He cleared his throat and sat up straight. "H-hi...."
She giggled. "It was, and I'm sure they'll be fine..." |
"Let's hope so. If we get closer and the windows are steamed up, we'll turn around." He lifted his hand and pointed. "We should be able to catch the cart when it stops for other kids."
She nodded a little, smiling. "That's good..you kinda froze there for a moment." She sat back in the seat, keeping her hand out since he was holding it. |
"O-oh!" He released her hand and looked away nervously.
She rolled her eyes. "I don't think either of them are that bold." |
"We could lock them in a room until something happens. You think that would do anything?"
She placed her hand back in her lap, and leaned against the window, sighing quietly. She looked down at her hand and smiled a little. Punching Malfoy was totally worth it. |
"Probably not. Mel's a bit weird when it comes to guys, she takes a while to get comfortable."
He coughed lightly, glancing around the cabin. "Soooo... uh.... nice punch..." |
Fred snapped his fingers and frowned. "Darn..that would have been a nice story to tell everyone else. Don't you think?" He continued down the narrow hall until he spotted the snack cart."
"You think so? I'll probably get in trouble when we get back..but it was kinda worth it. I don't like how he talks to everyone..or how mean he is to you." |
"You get use to it after a while... it depends on who he tells... more then likely he'll tell Snape, but McGonagall may help you out."
She rolled her eyes and pushed ahead of him by a step. "Quiet you. They'll figure it out on their own time." |
"You sure? We couldn't be nice and play matchmaker a little? It would be amusing at the very least." He stopped near the cart and looked the selection over. "They want chocolate frogs, right?"
"Worst case is I get kicked out. I might just get detention. I've never actually hit anyone before. I've only switched with people that do the hitting. I'm not a violent person...I swear." Un huh.. Mel huffed slightly. "No one asked you, Kayko. Sometimes I wish I had my thoughts to myself." |
"That's what they said." She smirked. "Maybe we should just get them one and tell them they have to share but they can't use their hands...."
He blinked a bit. "Usually fights are with magic, not physical scuffles. Snape will probably just tell Draco he needs to learn to defend himself better and then give you detention and deduct points from Gryffindor... Sometimes I feel like even if no one from Gryffindor house was involved he'd still take points from Gryffindor." |
