Ulric smiled at her and nodded, "yeah no trouble at all, the least I can do for a friend." he said as he smiled at her and then saw the popular girls come over. Seeing how Luna react to them, he glared at them and for once his voice came out loud and clear to them. "she is my friend, unlike you two idiots. Now why don't you go run off and leave me alone for once. I am getting tired of dealing with you and your kind." and it was clear that he was done with them. For once he had a friend and he wasn't going to let her go. "now you can either leave or apologize to Luna AND then leave." he said simply.

"UH! HOW DARE YOU! Never mind I wouldn't want YOU in my group! You're just as lame as she is!" the girl said coldly before snapping her fingers and the others that were with her left to their own table and everyone looked away from the two. "Wow... I've only known you for two days and you've already surprised me more then anyone else I've ever known. I'm glad your my friend Ulric." she said softly and gave him a slight hug before pulling away quickly and blushing.

Ulric glared and watched them go, clear to anyone around him that he didn't care about them. Though when he looked at Luna he softened up and smiled, "I am glad your my friend too." he said to her softly as he hugged her back before she pulled away, blushing slightly himself, "and I doubt I have surprised you that much. I am just looking out for the one person that is the only friend I have." he said as he looked at her and smiled. "now then why don't you come home with me after school today? that way I can drive you over to your friends house." he said as he smiled at her, "that is if your free."

"Well actually... all of my friend are online... they were all older then me so I never got to go to school with them and only saw them when we were working on the game... and that would be nice but I really need to get home after school to check on my mom... I think she has the flue she hasn't been feeling well since a few days before we moved." Luna said softly as she stood going to dump her trash as the bell rang for the next class. "So... what is your next class?" she asked softly as she pulled out her schedule and didn't realize she had all of the same classes as him yet.

Ulric nodded and smiled, "well your the only person I have ever met in real life. All my friend online are just that, online friends." he said as he looked at her and smiled, "if we are counting people outside we have met, I think your the only friend I have ever made on the outside world." he said and then nodded when he heard her, "okay, maybe some other day." he said as he stood up and started to follow her. He then smiled, "my next class is history with mr. White." he said as he looked at her, "how about you?"

"Huh... mine too." Luna smiled as she walked with him to their next class. "Well really we would have to go that way to get to Kaji's house... and I'll be checking on my mom every day until she gets better... but if you won't want to then that's okay." she said softly before taking a seat next to him hoping that was okay.

Ulric smiled when he heard her and walked with her towards class. "I still want to help you so just tell me when you want to go and I will take it. It isn't like I have a reason to be home." he said as he looked at her and took his seat. Stretching out a little bit, he smiled at her, "and I hope that your mother gets better soon." he said softly and felt bad since it seemed that all the people she cared about were sick.

"She should but thank you for caring. We can go after school today so long as we can stop by my house to I can tell my mother what's going on and check on her... and also post to the community to tell them that the castle will be closed until I get home." Luna smiled easily before paying attention to the teacher as he started speaking.

Ulric smiled and nodded, "okay that sounds good to me, just tell me where to drive and I can take you." he said as he absently took notes but every now and then would look up at the board. He then turned back to her, "my house isn't far form here so we can walk to there." he said since he didn't really like busses. He just hoped this day ended soon so that they could possibly get her friend out sooner rather then later.

"Okay thank you again it's really nice of you wanting to help me." Luna smiled as she then took notes again and continued through the rest of the day everything seeming to go better then that morning which was good for both of them. Once school was let out Luna smiled at Ulric happily ad fallowed him out of the school ad to his house. "So why is it that you want to lock yourself away in the game anyway? I never got a clear answer before." she asked as they walked hoping he didn't mind her asking.

Ulric smiled at her, "it is the least I can do for a friend." he said and stuck with her for the rest of the day. For once he actually was enjoying himself and found that he wasn't hating it. Though once they were out of school and they were walking, he sighed hearing her question. "the reason I want to lock myself away in the game is because that is the only place that I enjoy being at." he said as he looked down at her. "I have nothing here to keep me here, my parents ignore me and till today I had no friends or anything. So there wasn't really much to keep me here."

"But now that you do have a friend might you consider not locking yourself away?" Luna asked softly and hopefully. She didn't want to loose another friend.... she never wanted a friend to be hurt like Kaji was now. "Might you at least give the outside a chance before you decide?" she asked softly hoping he agreed... she had to stay out for her mother... she didn't want to end up alone on the outside again.

Ulric smiled at her and nodded, "it is deffinatly making me rethink some of the things that I have." he said as he smiled at her. "in truth your the first good thing to happen to me." he said right before they got to the front of his house. "so here we are, welcome to my house." he said as he opened the gate. His house was big, omre of a mansion really and he smiled at Luna, "come on, my car is in the garage." he said as he lead her over to the garage.

"Wow... that's a big house..." Luna murmured surprised before fallowing Ulric to the garage, she couldn't wait to see Kaji agai and see if she could help him more.

Ulric nodded, "yeah both my parents own corporations and kind of have lots of money. It is also the reason why I am home alone most of the time, they are always away." he said as he opened the door. Inside laid a classic mustang that was in perfect condition, "and this is our ride." he said as he smiled at her, "come one, lets not keep your friend waiting."

"Well I'll come over and hang out with you whenever you want if that will make everyting easier on you?" Luna smiled before looking at the car rather impressed before getting in and buckling up.

Ulric smiled and nodded, "I would like that, it gets very lonely here." he said as he jumped into the car. Starting it up, he headed out of there and then looked at her, "so where does he live? just tell me where to go." he said simply

"Well like I said before I need to check on my mom first if that's okay." Luna said before giving him the directions to her house so they could stop by and make sure that her mother was feeling okay.

Ulric nodded, "no problem." he said and then started to head towards her house. "so what made you move to our school anyways?" he asked as he looked at her, trying to get to know her a little bit better.

"Well... we had been living with my mom's ex but when she started to get sick he kicked us out... and some other stuff was going on as well, but anyway, my uncle owns the apartments so he gave us a discounted two bedroom until my mom got better." Luna said softly with a slight frown at the beginning but then smiled at the end a bit.

Ulric nodded as he listened to her and smiled, "well I am glad that you have a place to stay. But if anything happens you can come to me for help, I would do anything for a friend." he said and soon pulled up into her driveway and smiled at her.

"thanks." Luna smiled as they pulled into the apartments and she got out of the car. "Do you want to come in too?" she asked with a smile seeming okay either way.

Ulric smiled and nodded, "sure." he said as he got out of the car with her. "i might as well say hello to your mother while we are here." he said as he looked at her.

Luna smiled before leading him to her appartment and unlocking the door. "Mom I'm home" she said before heading to her mothers bedroom and going over to check on her. "Hi honey... who's with you?" she asked and Luna looked back before smiling. "My new friend Ulric." she smiled before asking her mother a few questions but she seemed to be getting better.

Ulric smiled as he walked in and followed Luna to the bedroom. Though when he saw her mother, he smiled and waved at her, "hello, it is nice to meet you." he said as he smiled at her. She didn't seem too sick but it was clear that she did need a lot of sleep.
