You can harm him, yes... and I'm sorry I've been gone so long! Real life ganged up on me and I haven't had time for Mene. A lot of the real life stuff has been fun, but... but... I love Mene, too!

No problem Wyrm! We all know that real life takes over at times. I can honestly say that these next few weeks are gonna be crazy for me. We have family coming to visit today for easter (and a college visit) and I'll be changing jobs soon. [boogie]

I hate god modding too ^_^ Few people I think actually like it.

People like it when others godmod? Ehh, when other people do it to me, it feels awkward...what are you supposed to do when someone is like,

"HAHAHAH [Insert Character Name Here] uses his superpower and kills all the bad guys! Good guys ftw!"

Kay, that's a bit exaggerated, but I think you know what I'm trying to say. [lol]

PapillonCameo: can back me up on this. we had a character in a group rp who was crazy obnoxious and i think was godmodding. Pap banned him and i had to god mode a reason why he was gone. *eyeroll*

I get really antsy when I think I'm toeing the line and make long posts about a short action so the other player has a chance to cut in and decide what happens. I imagine that gets pretty annoying to anyone responding, but I haven't come up with any other clever way of getting around that...

Which is why I don't often make characters that fight because fights take forever that way-- Riley and the Doc, for instance... [eager] and I'm stoked to play them soon!

Yeah, that is a Mary Sue situation too... oh I don't like those at all.

No Mary-sues for me!! I try hard to make my characters a bit off the wall to begin with. :P
*Has an undead politician character*

Oh fun ^_^ I do something to ensure that I create non-Mary Sues. I make a list of categories that a person could be good at... like: martial arts, fencing, marksmanship, wrestling, demolitions, computers, charisma, and wilderness survival. Then I pick one to be the main thing my character is for sure good at... then sometimes I pick what they are not good at.

In the same way I do physical traits: flexible/agile, stamina, fast, strong... pick one to be their strength and one to be their weakness. If they come up against a character that is strong in the characteristic that is their weakness, then they fight more poorly. Sadly, in almost every roleplay I do this in... even if I go up against a character that is my perfect opponent to win with... the person goes Mary Sue on me and gains extra abilities in the moment. It is most annoying... and then they wouldn't let me kill off my character. Sooo... then I developed a desire to just kill off my character for the heck of it and now I am getting my wish ^_^

Sorry guys for my absence I just got a new job for the summer and I've been trying to work that into my life. Also we just had Easter and that's always crazy around here. :P
