I'm a newbie, of course. You can call me Havoc or Matt (I answer to both). I found Menewsha through a friend I have on a diffrent website. Actually, to be quite honest, I'm a member of quite a few avatar-based websites. I would use their names, but I know how iffy most forum mods are about naming other websites. Anyway, for the introduction...

I'm an artist, drawing is my hobby. I draw cartoons (anime mostly) and sometimes other random stuff.

I'm a friendly person and can get along with anybody. I'm also silly, weird, crazy, geeky and a bunch of other things that correspond to a hyper-active person like myself. Just thought I'd warn you all before you attempt to strike a conversatin with me. xD

Oh and there is one more thing...

I don't consider myself a grammar nazi. I don't mind the abbreviations like 'u', 'ur', 'omg' or things like that. But I absolutely can't stand the use of numbers as substitutes for letters like 'w8', or 'b4'. Please, please, PLEASE don't message me with numbered words. Not only will you confuse me beyond all understanding, but I will have to ask you to repeat in English. :O

Well, that's pretty much the gist of my introduction.... and an explanation of a teeny little peeve of mine.I hope I didn't bore anyone who reads this, lol.

Because of how gold is earnt on here (per character) most people quickly get out of the text speak habit. A totally passive aggressive approach from a staff point of view, but hey, it works \o/

The main website I would've named off was Gaia. But, I still took a precaution by saying other avatar-based sites.

Loads of us on Mene are either still active Gaians or from there originally [yes] I can't log into my Gaia account of the same name any more, usual password/old email problem, but it's been at least 2 years and I'm resigned to that now. I can still log into a good 7 other accounts though, I just don't. Not got any interest in doing so.

One of the things that hugely appealed about this site was being able to change your hair and features for free, I just about had a heart attack when I found I didn't have to pay xD

Ah, I see. I've been an active Gaian since around 2005-ish, got hacked and started over in 2007. But I always wondered if there were other sites like it. And one of my buddies messaged me this heaping list of other websites, lol.

Thinking 'oh cool' to myself, I went and started to try 'em out. xD

You're right though, the hair, skin and eyes features are a plus. :-)

I just tried to log into my main account again, all your fault [poke] no joy though : / The issue there is the email for that account is my original email from AOL, and it no longer exists, so I've just got to kiss my little girl goodbye :( Pretty convinced that I never altered my password from the last one that I have saved though, it just stopped working one day. Also know full well that there's zero point in me contacting anyone on Gaia via my mule to try and get things fixed, because that ain't gonna happen >.>

It's some anime character...I dunno, I'm English, anime might as well not exist here xD So I can't remember who, but that's who our pixelist was thinking of when she did that hair, so people can cosplay and so on. I guess whoever created that hair on Gaia had much the same idea. We've got other hair that is aimed specifically at certain anime characters, Sephiroth and so on [yes]

Me, being the anime freak that I am can only name two characters off-hand.

And they're both from the same show, lol. I'm too much of a Bleach fan to think of any other characters. xD

I dunno what I was thinking on Gaia when I bought that hair. Just that it looked great with my dark-elf skin, lol.

It's cool hair, and at least they have masking on Gaia so you can wear a hat without it sticking through it. Which you can't do on here [ninja]
