Things You Like to Do as it Rains....

Well since March it seems to be a rainy month in the majority of the places I've been I decided to make a Rain themed thread. So let's list the things you like to do while it rains.

Me I like to do absolutely nothing...
sleeping, or watching a movie...

hummy 03-18-2013 08:16 PM

hummy loves to sleep while it rains

~LONGCAT~ 03-18-2013 08:18 PM

Art and snacks... except I will do those even if it isn't raining.

hummy 03-18-2013 08:19 PM

snuggling up in my hello kitty blanket with Sashie-belle is good, too
we both love the rain

~LONGCAT~ 03-18-2013 08:24 PM

Oh and play with Bluebeard. I really want to take him out now because he's spent most of the day sleeping.

hummy 03-18-2013 08:26 PM

who is bluebeard?

Kole_Locke 03-18-2013 08:33 PM

Bluebeard? I remember there was an old movie called Bluebeard. That was a really creepy movie.

@hummy Hello, hope all is well. Sleeping is definitely a favorite thing of mine.

~LONGCAT~ 03-18-2013 08:35 PM

Bluebeard is my pudgy budgie!! My tiny angry parakeet. :3 I luff him even if he is a grump.
ha, he just started screeching because no one is talking with him.

Oh, my mom has a Senegal parot which does the same thing if you ignore him for too long. His name is Charlie but I call him fingerbiter lol.

By the way Bluebeard was a movie from awhile back which was about a widower who went through many wives and lived in huge mansion and he marries a young woman and gives her a key to almost every place in the mansion but tells her not to go to a "restricted area"

It gets kind of macabre the discoveries she ends up making...

my ebil birdie has been sleeping all day, too

Jeannesha 03-18-2013 08:50 PM

What makes your birdie so ebil, hummy?

hummy 03-18-2013 08:51 PM

he likes to say things over and over at the top of his ebil birdie lungs

Jeannesha 03-18-2013 09:00 PM

He talks to you?

My brother had an AFrican Grey parrot...but he used to bite. Hard.

They ended up selling him to somebody who would be able to spend more time with him.

hummy 03-18-2013 09:01 PM

yep
he loves to play peek-a-boo
and he says it just like hummy does
only in a much higher pitch that kills my head

Jeannesha 03-18-2013 09:04 PM

They are really great mimics.

Hey Jeannesha! Thanks for all of your help and you too hummy!
parots aren't for me... I think I will stick with either a dog or a cat. lol

hummy 03-18-2013 09:10 PM

you're welcome, Kolie

Jeannesha 03-18-2013 09:11 PM

I love kitties.
I would so like to have another kitty.

Kole_Locke 03-18-2013 09:14 PM

Kitties are sweet, nothing like petting a purring kitty cat when it's raining outside while listening to some soft classical music.

@hummy - How have you been lately?

Jeannesha 03-18-2013 09:20 PM

So I take it you're having a lot of rain there.

It's 90 degrees here, and our grass is crunchy.

Yes, it is really rainy and cold right now, I'm at McDonalds using wi-fi waiting for the rain to stop then going to make it for the house since we don't have a router for the wi-fi.

Sounds like we need to exchange weather patterns even if it would only be for a couple of hours or so lol

@hummy - under the weather? Snowy? Are you in England? It was snowing on my way down to North Carolina as I was traveling from New Jersey.

Jeannesha 03-18-2013 09:28 PM

Yeah, we need the rain, but you can keep the cold.
lol...

~LONGCAT~ 03-18-2013 09:30 PM

Who let you leave NJ? There are strict rules and tolls for leaving NJ.
Bluebeard is quietly chewing on his emery perch cover. He's actually a pretty quiet bird in general.
