I know it sucks that you can't go to your sis's bday party, but honestly I think it's better not to be around negative nellys like that.

It's my niece's bday party. Every year I have gone and this year the rules have changed...

Did you know at my real mother's family they have a christmas party before thanksgiving and they even invite my Step Mom to it! And she gets presents. That's how loving my family is. Of course this only happens because my real mother is passed away if she wasn't my step mom most likely wouldn't be allowed to come. Too akward lol!

Funny thing is my step mom gets freaked out when she's around my family. She always says that family should not get along so well!!! I thought she was joking but now I realize that she isn't use to that much love in a family.

We are not strict religious but we do attend church and help out with it's community. The previous one we went to the minister retired and they could not afford a new one so we had to find a new church so we went to Uncle Keith's church.

I'm not really a religious person nor have I ever gone to church. I'm not an atheist, though. not that there's anything wrong with being one [lol]

Religion got me through a lot of rough times in my life. I really miss my old church I felt so at home there. The minister was so kind and helpful. He would come over once a week to chat with me and we would do some bible readings. But he's gotten too old so he can't do that.

Poor guy D; I bet he misses it as well. :c
I've heard it can be very comforting. Religion, that is.
