Oh yeah.
I know that feeling well.
Feeling like shit because there is nothing you can do to ease their pain.
Nothing you can do to keep them alive.
Feeling hopeless when they're gone.

I didn't just lose a cat last year.
I also lost my only uncle.
Which was probably worse.

I hate crying in front of people.
And my friends know that if I cry in front of them they have my full trust.

Yeah...it was depressing.
He wasn't in pain, that i know of.
but he did have a disorder that basically made it so his liver wouldn't filter anything, so everything he ate, every thing the liver usually would filter out, went right into his body.
he was puffy, like he was swollen.
It...was heart breaking.
there was nothing we could do.
he was crying for me, didn't want to be away from me.
I held him as he cried in my arms and I talked to him.
I comforted him and said I loved him and everything.
I told him it was okay to let go.
And...he passed away.
Just typing this is making me cry.

I've never felt what it's like to loose a family member, a person.
I know it had to be very painful.

I didn't cry when I talked to ru, but I was mopey.
i think I'm open about crying, though i try not to unless I just can't hold it in.

Well..
Riven, who died in 2002, died of unknown causes.
But I watched as he took his last breathes.
I had him cremated.
So he's always with me.

And Tobi, who died in December, more than likely died of kidney failure.
He stayed alive until I came home from college.
He wanted me to be there.
Like a month ago we finally buried him.
Banche dug the hole.

Cats are loyal. they may have sass and don't always act like they love their owners, but they do.
you can see it in their eyes, you can see it when they worry over you when you're sick or hurt or sad.
They are wonderful little beings.
It always sad to see them go.
Any creature you have as a pet, one you're close to and love.
it's just depressing when they leave.

All our cats have sass AND they show us they love us.
As we speak Pumpkin is laying on me.
At night he sleeps with me and cuddles.
And all our Kitties meow at us and rub on us.
My moms cat Rat headbutts people he likes.
Rug meows, really loud I might add, at people she likes.
Squash, he meows like a sissy woman and rolls on the ground.
And yes you read that correctly.
