IT'S JUST LIKE HOW YOU SAY YOUR CHARACTERS ARE IN THE SAME ROOM AS YOU.
BUT YES. I JUST STARTED THAT. I USED TO NOT GET HOW THEY COULD EVER SEEM REAL, BUT NOW I TOTALLY DO. MY CHARACTERS HAVE A LIFE OF THEIR OWN. /I have a sort of chivalrous character who always turns out nicely when I draw him /and a shy, socially awkward character who always turns out terrible /even how easy/difficult they are to develop corresponds to their personality! But my planning is the best. "WHAT did you just say? You do WHAT because of WHO? But that means THIS… <Character>, I don't know if I should be proud of you or really angry right now." And then one character was telling me how he came to be what he is now, and he made me feel really sad. |

That emoticon sums up everything. I never would've thought that my characters' development would match their personalities. If that's so, I'm not looking forward to developing the main character of one of my fledglings. I think she likes to give people a hard time.
