Sometimes I can sleep through streetfighting elephants leading a parade of fire trucks all playing kazoos, and sometimes a person trying so hard to be quiet can wake me up just by the change in the feel of the room with another person in it...

I'm the same way! I have slept through an earthquake TWICE (not that we get them often here; it makes the news when there's an earthquake), and I can sleep through loud stomping and storms and who knows what else, but if my mom is shouting at me to wake up and get ready for school… wakes me up every time.

I once woke up to find the house empty, because of a flash tornado watch wherein nobody knew I was under the pile of sheets and clothes on my bed, and the air-raid sirens didn't wake me.
But let an ant fart in the kitchen cupboards, and I'm up for the rest of the day... -_-; And on that note, if I drop or vanish, it's only because I fell asleep... Just giving a heads-up, it's close to that time... |
I remember one time I was falling asleep, and then the AC turned on and made me jump out of my skin.

Oh, I hate that! I often wind up with the top of my head resting lightly on the wall where the head of the bed is, and every time the A/C shifts gears it jerks me back awake, and it's like it's timed perfectly to do it every time I'm almost asleep! But I don't wake up enough to move my head and stop the little head-jerky vibrations!
Then it's like, nod off, jerked awake, nod off, jerked awake, nod off, jerked awake, until I want to pull my hair out... Sometimes I can't sleep until I switch ends of the bed, and lay with my head practically hanging off the end of it. |
Weird sleeping positions are the most comfortable thing ever.

I have! I can only imagine how hard it would be not to laugh if someone saw such a thing, especially since I apparently also make faces in my sleep sometimes, like people do in the mirror for fun. I think it's part of why I don't ever want to marry, I can't imagine inflicting that on someone else every night for that long! I'd feel so bad for them! |
Once I woke up curled up on my pillow. I was actually in a position similar to what you just described in the dream I was having that night.

I don't mind sharing a bed, but when I'm ready to sleep, either stay on your side or GTFO!
I take that back, I do like sleeping in a cuddle on occasion, but then there's always the hazards: elbow in the face by accident, knee ...or other item... poking me in the back, snoring, loud and obnoxious farts, they pretty much all but outweigh the comfort of the cuddle. If someone is a good sleeper and doesn't toss about much though, I can usually manage to sleep next to them if I have to... I just usually don't much feel like it. |

From what I've been able to learn through my own research, I spent my infancy sleeping alone pretty much after the first few days.
Apparently I had the same pet peeves concerning sleep then as I do now, lol. I actually slept better after she put me down than I did being held, once I was fed. *is probably falling asleep right now, will know soon enough* |
I hardly know anything about when I was a baby. I do know that I've always had impressive diction.

I love cuddling so I love sleeping next to other people.
And I still do weird things. But it's okay because my boyfriend Skeith does weird things also in his sleep. Sadly I hate when he steals my pillow and then drools all over it.. /frowns |

I don't do lots of hair items, but I like that at least we don't have to spend a thousand gold to change hair styles. Free hair is pretty awesome, I think. I've only got a couple of things that aren't cheap-to-middling in a shop, but I figure it's how I use them that counts... at least that's my excuse, lol. I haven't really been able to accrue all that much wealth here, just yet, but I'm working on it. |
I have spending issues. It's really rare that I buy something using gold. I buy CIs with gold. It's painful.

I'd actually be a lot better off without a mule to take care of, but I'm trying to do something fun with her...
All she really needs now is a vest and some shoes and her little costume (or approximation of one) will be good enough for me, I think. My main is fine for now, as far as I'm concerned. I'll always want to switch it up now and then, but I think I got her looking pretty spiffy for what I've had to work with so far. And yeah, I don't think I could amass all that much gold... I'd get up to 10k or something and have to buy a bunch of stuff... On Gaia I had millions, but I got hooked on the Marketplace, and that means either being broke all the time or becoming rich, lol. I had so much gold I threw it at people just to get them to hang out in the threads I liked... |
