She was a interesting woman, to say the least. At first she only stared at me as I walked by. I'd look at her and she'd smile. Me being who I was at that time I ignored her, and I'm sure that sparked her interest in me.

She had long black hair that reached a little past the middle of her back. Her bangs slightly covered her red eyes, which at the time I thought were contacts. She wore the craziest dress. It showed off a lot of her skin, especially her boobs. She was pale but not sickly pale. She always had red lipstick on and she smelled of roses.

Some might think she was just one of the people that liked to do what they wanted, dress however they liked. But no, she was different. She changed me: and in more ways than one.

I was never one to talk to people. I didn't have friends. I saw it as a waste of time. Hell half the time I barely talked to my mom. But her.. oh she never stopped trying. And me? I never stopped taking that route.

Her first words to me were, "It's dangerous in alleyways at night." I remember looking back at her and taking the sucker out of my mouth to say, "I don't care." Her eyes almost lighting up at my words. From then on she attempted to talk to me each night.

"What's your name, cutie?" She asked the next night. All I did was stare at her, sucking on another sucker as I walked right past her. "I'll just call you Edmund then.." she said quietly,folding her arms. "Don't you fucking dare call me that! My name is Riku!" I yelled, speeding up my steps to get away. It was starting to get weird. I didn't stay long enough to hear her name.
