I don't think that. I find that non greasy hair can smell pretty nice.

I'm not worried about my hair as long as it's in my head and not causing me a problem. Which is why dreads are perfect for me.

Yep, those are dreads. I really like them. They'd be good for me because taking care of my hair is hard, and I definitely don't want to do the weave thing or wear wigs. And I never, ever want to cut it!

Probably helps that we rarely usually get people of African decent here. mostly Asians. Though as of late there have been a lot of people from Gambia here.

Oh, I've only seen dreads through the vast place that is the Internet. On mostly whites. I MIGHT have seen African people with dreads IRL before. Might. I see them with braids, fake hair/extensions, or almost nothin'. People are like :O when I tell them my hair's real.

For never cutting it, it's ridiculously short. It almost reaches my waist.

It isn't heavy at all. A little when it's wet, but nothing I couldn't live with.
