Bizarre Dreams
Anyone who knows me IRL knows that I like to talk about my dreams. I have some super weird ones. I'm wondering about some of the weird/goofy dreams that you all have.
For example, last night I had a dream that Aquaman kicked the bucket and no one noticed. They found some kind of replacement aquatic super hero that could turn people into fish sticks. |
[lol] Poor Aquaman! The replacement sounds much more heroic though.
I always have really weird dreams and I talk in my sleep a lot, mostly about cutting onions. But I recently dreamt I was stuck at walmart and everyone was dressed like llamas. Not even fully convincing llamas like really bad looking llamas.. |
Oh, wow! That is weird. People at Wal-Mart aren't often the most well-dressed crowd though. I saw an old woman once who had her jeans pulled up past her breasts.
|
Hmm, I've had weird dreams about my exes and I've been having a dream about one of them the past few nights because I've been wanting to talk to him again but he is just bad news. Anyway, every single time I have a dream about him, I'm either punching him or knocking him out in them...idk what it means. o.o I'm not a violent person.
|
I think those kinds of dreams are normal. I had a dream once that there was a big beefy guy trying to steal my movies off of my bookshelf. I flipped him over my shoulder and stomped on his neck a bunch of times.
|
I write my dreams down if it's something I remember. It's interesting to go back and read sometimes.
I had a dream about aliens stealing all my oatmeal before.. Then they locked me up so they could eat it. |
I LOVE discussing about dreams, especially to see how our brain works when we sleep. XD
I have a lot of different type of dreams, but in day time, I can't remember the details, when I lie back prepare to sleep, I tend to remember more about the dreams. As if I have two separate hard drive, switch to each other depending on my sleeping mode. I have dream as normal as daily life, fantasy, nightmare, continuos dream and even dejavu. |
I can never remember dreams, or even remember remembering dreams.
It's like I never dream. Which is kind of lame. I wanna see Batman ride a gazelle to the moon. |
Remember remembering dreams. XD
Then do you know whether you dream or not? the moment you wake up? |
I have a lot of really odd dreams, but unfortunately I can only remember them and tell the tale of them for a couple of days after I had them usually.
I have had a long succession of dreams where the Mexican mafia stole and/or parted out my car, and maybe just maybe tore off the roof and took my rims. >.> A dream I had recently that was violent but made me laugh despite it being nightmarish, was that this creepy bastard was following me around a dorm-style buffet cafeteria. I murdered him by shoving my fork into his stomach. [ninja] No, I'm not a murderous person, but I think it was a metaphor for the frustration I feel for all the men who treat women like objects. You know, wolf whistlers and such. |
I don't have the faintest idea. I would wager I dream... don't we all dream? I simply wake up with absolutely no recollection of ever dreaming.
Oh well. Maybe someday. |
They say everyone dreams every night, but that you don't remember most of them.
|
Dreaming about the Mexican Mafia sounds pretty exciting. I think I'm fine with not dreaming about plunging forks into people's bellies. I'd be afraid of waking up and realizing that I sleep walked into some cafetiere and shanked someone.
|
About bizzarre... hmm... I don't think I have any bloody dreams like that...
the murderous act that I had done are by so call 'magic', so... not all that bloody. Amongst a few thing are... I can fly, can breathe in water, dimension jump, instead of being chased, I chased people. XD *chuckles* |
Nice! I love dreams where I'm flying/breathing under water. It's so surreal and wonderful!
|
There was even once, the few dreams that I am aware that I am dreaming, I imitate magician of conjuring doves out of the hands. Gosh! The feeling feel so real, I can feel the doves soft feather body struggling free from my hand when I slowly open the hand~ *dreams*
|
A lot of my dreams are lucid too. Whenever I'm going to be having a nightmare I just teleport to somewhere better where my dream can go in a different direction.
|
Hmm... lately I don't have much control over my dreams...
I wanna regain my god mod! :< |
I notice my dreams go more lucid toward when I'm about to wake up. It's almost like my brain is saying 'this is ridiculous-- do something fun quick and then get out of bed. You've been sleeping too long.'
|
If I have anime music playing when I'm asleep I have funny anime like dreams (though I have not done that in years.).
Three nights ago I had a disturbing dream where I came into the apartment I'm moving out of and there was my grandpa and my mom. Just sitting there and watching tv. I ask them what they are doing here. And they told me they came back to life and they are going to live with me now. Then I ran out and grabbed my dad and step mom to help me make sense of it. Then I woke up when it got to the part the minister came over... That dream was so weird and scary... I never had a dream like that and believe me I don't want one like that again. |
Are your mom and grandpa passed away?
Well it will spooked me! Even though they are ghosts of my close one. I am just... scared of those things. x.x |
Whenever I listen to music when I'm asleep I don't like the songs as much when I wake up. Or at least they give me a weird feeling when I'm listening to them, so I don't usually do that.
But that dream does sound scary! It also sounds really sad. The scariest non-nightmare dream that I've had was probably the dream where when people died, their last breath smelled really awful and like death. It was like their soul was leaving their body. In my dream someone close to me passed away, and I was holding their hand and saying goodbye to them. When I was leaning over to give them a hug, they breathed their last breath and this really strong, death-like, smell came out of their mouth. I was gagging. (In real life I am extremely sensitive to bad smells.) In my dream I felt awful because I was so sad that I had lost someone and yet I was grossed out. When I woke up I was really confused and really glad that that isn't what really happens. |
It is always spooky that you dream of someone already dead come to live or someone alive dying. x.x
Two different extremes. |
Yeah! I totally agree.
I'm wondering if anyone has had recurring dreams. I have dreams about a lot of the same locations. It's weird because they're locations that I've never been to. They're places that just don't exist in real life. One of my favorites is in a really cool bookshop. It's all wood and it's located down a road near some fields. In my dream everything is tinted kind of a yellowish gold color. I always go into the shop and chat with this guitar player who plays guitar in the store. She is always super nice. I also have a lot of dreams that I'm trying to impress my friend's mom. I get so nervous around her because she is not the most accepting person ever. I've probably had over 30 dreams like that in the last year. It seems like I'm really obsessed with impressing her, but I'm not. I am a people pleaser though. I also have a lot of dreams about a certain water park? There's a huge water slide that if someone were to go down it IRL they'd probably die because it's super steep and there's nothing at the bottom to slow you down. |
Yah my mom died three years ago and my grandpa died last month. So it freaked me out durring the whole dream. I was shaken all morning long after that dream.
