They are still way too small to hug proper... therefore you can't hug them. Plus I have to be super careful with them as their suckers love to fall off. I've already had to replace multiple ones that have fallen off. >.< Since making them.

They aren't huggable material. Even putting them in my bag to take them with me, that's what caused me to lose a few sequins the other day. O.o

Silly sequins! Sequins always fall off...

Therefore no hugs for them, they sit around looking cute, that's it. Most of them are pretty well attached - it's just the ones on the tips of the tentacles that are iffy with falling off. I've gotten ok with attaching them. But they're still a pain.

Ahh....do you sew down the sequins or glue them? Have you tried doing both? That might help with them staying on?

They are all hand sewn on. No glue. No no no... Ugh, I hate glue even more than I hate sequins. O.o *hides from the glue* No.

It's not really that hard. ^_^ Might help that I just love working with felt. ^_^ And eh, no - because then I'd not have a need for the seed bead and that's what helps it look right, to me, at least. :) So I'll stick with sewing them on for now. :) They're not really all that bad, in all honesty - I just don't like to have to keep on sewing a few in and keep the others on that tentacle from falling off. >.< That's almost happened once.

Not really...I don't even know how to use a sewing machine. And when it comes to hand stitching, I can't make that invisible seam after stuffing something. :/

I don't do well with sewing machines, all of my little creatures are done by hand.

I managed to find some grey felt... SCORE!!! [boogie] This is going to be one cute little hippo. Not really big, but cute! :D

I'm horrible with felt! I can't seem to cut it with it actually cutting or fraying.

I looooove felt! the octopuses are made with felt actually! I've also made 6 felt chicks, 2 felt owls, a felt penguin, a felt dragon fly, and now the felt hippo. :) And I made a felt prayer flag today for a family friend who found out about a month ago that she has brain cancer. :(

you just need a good pair of scissors to cut it with. :D

I was using scissors that have only been used to cut fabric to cut it with....although I did find out cutting straight lines in felt is easy with an exacto knife. XD

But were the scissors sharp? We have fabric only scissors and after awhile they seem to dull and then they are a pain to use. [yes] Eh, that's too much work - having to get out the cutting tools for that. >.< I have a decent pair of scissors that doesn't give me too many troubles. :)

Yeah, I managed to find it again. Thankfully. I have a laptop - but we don't have wifi - so I have to use their computer in the living room to get online. XDD

Ahh...that sucks! What kinda of internet do you have? Would you have the ability to hardwire your laptop to the internet?

Ethernet... so it's fast, and I am ok most of the time getting on on my parents computer, it is bigger than mine. And due to how they have it set up, I can't. But that's ok, I'd still be stuck in the living room anyways, so why not just use theirs. xDD

But hey... I have access to the internet, sure mom loves to try to control how much I'm on, but she can't always. And she's gotten better about giving me time online and all that. So that's good at least.
