I'm the same way. Not really a fan of books on tape. I do have podcasts though on my phone.

I get motion sickness if I read in a car, so I just listen to books on tape or I sleep.

My problems is, I travel with my family a lot, and whenever I have headphones in, that's when they decide to try to talk to me. >.<
HIGHLY annoying.

I know the feeling, my family did that to me yesterday.

Well we got a lot done at my house today, cleaned fishtanks, and cleaned the boys' room. I also put silcone on the windows where they were leaking.

Lately on road trips, I just sit there and stare out the window.
My mind just kinda wanders somewhere, and the next thing I know, we're there!

Try doing that for over 13 hours. [headdesk] blah.

I don't know how you do it nemo. Do you have to go back on the road again?

I don't know how I do it either. Heh. That was 13 hours to get where we were going, that's another 13 hours to go home, and that's 13 hours with no stops. We'll start heading home on Tuesday morning, and we'll be home by Wednesday, no sure what time of the day.

The TV in our hotel isn't working - like it says no signal - I keep telling him to call the front desk, and he's decided to start messing with it. >.< He better not break anything.

Heh, at least I can stretch out on the way home, because my brother is staying here - that was the point of this trip, bring him back to school. [yes]

Why did you have to come nemo?

Why did I have to come? I've never seen his school or school town before, and I honestly wanted to go - despite the distance. It will be my last time seeing him till Summer, when he's home for only a month. [yes] Because our Spring Breaks are not the same week.

I may not like road trips all that much when they're crammed into way too short a time to get driving done, it is possible but it drives me crazy, but I do love my brother and it is nice getting to spend a little bit more time with him.

Awe, you have such a good relationship with him. What's his school like?

I do, and most people are shocked by that. We rarely fight.

He goes to the top Aeronautical College in the country. [yes] He's a helicopter pilot. :]

I don't have any actual pictures of just me and him, but this is me and him - we're the two next to each other - with our friends. :]

sounds like fun! i went to visit my brother one time while he was at Kansas State. [drool] I'd love to go there, i'm disappointed he didn't graduate from that school. he ended up flunking out. :(

Brrrr it's cold this morning. Jacob still seemed like he didn't feel well, but I told him he better try to go to school today since he missed the day before Christmas break. I also told him, if he gets to feeling too sicky to make sure and tell his teacher and i'll come get him.

It's a stupid far drive though. Awwww! :[ Don't think that'll happen to my brother though, he's doing amazingly well! :] He seems to love it here, well not particularly the classes, but he loves the flying part more! For sure!

At least he knows that if he doesn't feel good enough to tell his teacher to have you come and get him. [hug] Poor sick boy! :[

That's good, i'm glad he's doing well.

Yeah, hopefully they'll let me know, but I'm going to check on him at noon when I take bubba to school. Just to make sure.

Yeah, he's the crazy one. I'm just glad that he had a few good friends here. :]
