How are you doing Iku? And your signature is awesome.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-18-2013 07:38 PM

Thanks! I'm well. [:B] Excited to be finishing up another class and then moving on to another!

Antagonist 10-19-2013 05:47 AM

Except Australia, I suppose. They're probably getting hotter. [XD]

Ling 10-19-2013 06:37 AM

Well, yes, that's true, today was 31 degrees celsius here. But I imagine the warmer temperatures are throughout the Southern Hemisphere. [:)]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-19-2013 08:20 AM

Haha yeah. XD They're getting swimsuit ready!

Antagonist 10-19-2013 09:09 AM

I haven't gone swimming in ages. [XD] I miss playing buy a river or something. I like flipping over rocks and stuff to find little critters and all. [drool]

Kirin Rosenbaum 10-20-2013 03:31 AM

*wanders in and looks around*

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-20-2013 07:12 AM

I swam at the pool here. Was kind of oddly set up because there's a diving board on one side and a slide on the other. I just wanted some open space to swim freely. [lol] But it was fun anyway.
Meant to go to the waterpark nearby, but kept having issues that prevented us from going. = 3=

Antagonist 10-20-2013 07:20 AM

I think the last time I went to a waterpark was when I was in elementary school due to a field trip? [lol]

I had loads of fun there, I loved floating along the river canal...though I wished there were less people there because I kept bumping into other people. [sweat]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-20-2013 04:36 PM

Wow really? [:O]

I love lazy rivers! But not for lazing around, for swimming. [ninja] I like how it has a path and a current, makes me feel like I'm swimming fast. And all the people around makes it like an obstacle course. [lol]

Antagonist 10-20-2013 04:52 PM

Yeah...I don't swim or get wet very often aside from my daily showers. [lol]

lmao!! That's one way of looking at it. [XD] The time when we went, there were waaay too many people to be able to use it as an obstacle course though...it was like dumping a bucket full of tacks in a room and trying to navigate through them without stepping on any. [sweat]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-22-2013 08:46 AM

Whaaa? Oh yeah, your beaches are kind of messy aren't they? I haven't been to the beach here yet, but I get the feeling that it's nothing too spectacular aside from just being a different mass of water than I've experienced. [lol]

Oh gosh, that sounds way too crowded! [gonk] I've been through some of those too. Luckily, it wasn't usually crowded all the way through. My worst experience with one was one you weren't allowed to swim in. You had to be floating on an inner tube. [gonk] It was like giving me a cupcake or something and then telling me not to eat it. XD

Antagonist 10-22-2013 03:09 PM

lol Yeah, most of the beaches here are pretty messy because of all the tourists and stuff. I've seen more trash, dead stuff, needles and syringes and other nasty stuff than I care to count. [gonk]

Hmm...now that I think about it, I think it might have been during the summer break, which would explain all the people. I was probably in the YMCA thing my mom entered me in. [lol] And whaaa?! Inner tubes required!? But that's no fun at all! [gonk]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-22-2013 03:29 PM

Crazy about the syringes. -shudders- [gonk]

You did one of those YMCA things? [lol]
I know! D: I don't want to be lazy, I want to swim!

momochan 10-22-2013 03:37 PM

~whispers~
the syringes are probably filled with pickle juice
[ninja]

Antagonist 10-22-2013 04:07 PM

I think it was more like a daycare thing since my mom needed to work and all. [lol]

The syringes were either broken or empty or filled with (what I presume was) seawater...pickle juice would be creepy. [sweat] Heard a lot of them were there because unsavory hospitals would just chuck all their trash into the sea to save costs...

*sneaks through the thread*

Or from users themselves. No reason to find a garbage receptacle on the beach when you can just leave it and pass out a few feet away.

I floated about a mile down a creek, then swam the last mile to keep warm this summer. We had started a little late in the day with some drinks and decided to go to a popular spot for taking inner tubes and floating down. I had a blast, but we were freezing afterwards. One of the best meals I've ever had afterwards, too.

Hey there, Musa! [:D]

And wow! Ikea's restaurant looks nice. [:O]! I've only seen one Ikea store in real life and I didn't even go inside of it. [lol] So they could very well have them in the States and I didn't know. Just something I hadn't heard of either.
Oh! Speaking of pickles...
Lookit what Howds did. [lol]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-28-2013 07:03 AM

@Nim: Lmao, I hope it wasn't pickle juice. [lol]

@Jup: Sounds like fun! [eager]

-pats Clock-

@Keno: I'MASTAROK!

Antagonist 10-28-2013 07:05 AM

I wonder if I took a thousand syringes, filled them with pickles juice, and tossed them everywhere, what people would think? [rofl]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-28-2013 07:07 AM

It would probably appear on a Cracked article! [rofl]

Antagonist 10-28-2013 07:13 AM

That would be awesome! [rofl]

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 10-28-2013 07:14 AM

Hey, that means you have some wicked perseverance though!
