Some of the richer Menewshans win big items and gift them to people.
I was really sad that I had sold my Pudao and some other rares to be able to bid on a V-Day auction, and was outbid on EVERYTHING.
Then, magically - I was gifted the Lovelipop. I still treasure it :D

So... they closed it down because the "out of stock" reason? I agree that doesn't make sense. They have the ability to create various amounts of a certain item. They also take old rares from banned accounts and auction them off.

I found the rules were very clear and precise. That's why I loved entering that Auction. I won a Lovelipop once. It was the only item I ever loved from the vday old rares. But once the rules of the auction were nullified, I did sell it because we were getting newer and better contribution items and I never can hoard gold.

I did have the mene balloons too. And the female t-shirt. But most of the old rares that I was able to obtain, I gave to Charity and Contest prizes for Menewsha's giveaways. I think that was during the time I quit temporarily.

I have a drawer in my invo just for my extra items. Occasionally I will go through the quest threads and give out those items.
I was in the mood today, so I gave something away. Nothing big, but wanted to put a little smile on someone's face :)

Miroro... Did I read your reply wrong? Do you mean that the reason "Out of stock" is applicable for the cancellation of the auction?
I was rooting for out of stock. XD From what I heard, the GBA and Quester Raffle stash are from banned accounts. They do not want to 'create' more items just like the reason Gaia don't re-release their donation item. (But I think Gaia just break that tradition... since last year, I guess... some rumours I heard that 03 items are release in a lottery style.)

Applicable? You mean reasonable? I'm saying that if the reason that they gave for shutting down the Auction place was just because it was "Out of Stock" is pretty vague and doesn't make sense. A lot of accounts have been banned and they have tons of rares on them. That's where they had gotten their inventory, to feed it back into Menewsha consumer flow.

And I know that they wouldn't create more items. I'm just saying that they have the ability, if they had wanted to. I just think a better reason would've been that they have released a sufficient amounts of old rares that they are satisfied enough to close down the Auction so it won't depreciate the value of the items *

But idk about Gaia. I'm not involved in it anymore.
I do still have an account but other than that, I don't know what goes on there.

Miroro, lol. Not all banned accounts have rares in them. Which is why I don't find 'out of stock' a bad reason.
The banned accounts are not infinite. *shruggs*

I really hope he enjoys it and learn a lot.

Hubby got a big bottle of soap and it got knocked on the floor. The lid broke and it spilled everywhere. :( I saved a lot of it though.
