Anything that's not human, animal or sea creature is on my fear list lol

I'm sure they'll be great. Just don't be afraid to experiment, it also might help to look at existing recipes to get an idea of what a good meatball needs ^-^ Your own recipe book sounds awesome!

Yeah that is true. I can always pick up my bestie Lawrence when I get a car and have him try them *3*

Amane 09-17-2013 02:09 AM

Those were all a problem when I was little. My grandmother's house still gets spiders. Our house has been sealed in several places where ants were getting in before I was born.

@Gwena: I believe that's me as well… [lol] Butterflies are pretty, but I don't think I'd like it if one landed on me. I LOVE cats, but I get inexplicably afraid when I'm near one IRL.

EirianHikari 09-17-2013 02:11 AM

Butterflies don't bother me, I simply adore them...........Now everything else buggy on the other hand........Does, lol.

Yep, every cook/chef needs a taste tester and a mad scientist attitude!

Thanks Gwenana~ *twirls around*

The only moving animals bugs that I don't jump(aka scared) at are... mosquito, flies and ants.
The rest... like lizard, mouse, dog, cat, butterfly, spiders... I would make physical 3 steps away from them when I notice them.

When I see a spider, I just freeze in place or move slowly back...lol Unless its really super tiny, than I just squish the living daylights out of it using three pounds of kleenex

MoodyBats 09-17-2013 02:16 AM

Gwena
Yes indeed. Either Lawrence or My boyfriend will be my guinea pigs.

EirianHikari 09-17-2013 02:16 AM

Lol, move slowly back huh Gwen? She totally jumps up, lol.

That's a great idea!

Amane 09-17-2013 02:18 AM

Yeah! I used to be so chill about bugs. I didn't stay around them, but they didn't have me crippled by fear.

xuvrette 09-17-2013 02:19 AM

lol! Kleenex? Isn't that a cleaning solution?

I have a coakcroach spray with extended thin nose.
When I spot a coakcroach, I would make a jump first, grab that spray, and follow it like a ninja! then spray at it. I spray at it at few minutes interval until I am sure it is dead. Then I will use a broom to sweep it up either end up in waste bin or WC, whichever closest.

You are going have totally awesome meatballs in the future!

EirianHikari 09-17-2013 02:21 AM

@Amame: I know what you mean! I still remember when I was little, playing with earthworms and lightning bugs. Wouldn't do that now.

Kleenex is a brand of facial tissue (here in the states at least) https://www.kleenex.com/

xuvrette 09-17-2013 02:26 AM

... you use tissue to squish spiders? O__O
Won't the spider left yucky oozy fillings on the box?

Well, I don't use the box, just the tissue but yeah they leave guts all over the wall but you just wipe it with a paper towel or another tissue.

Amane 09-17-2013 02:28 AM

Lightning bugs are pretty, but when I actually see their body, I jump back.

EirianHikari 09-17-2013 02:29 AM

@Amane: I admire them from the window, nice safe distance, lol.

xuvrette 09-17-2013 02:29 AM

... it irks me to see the yucky insides of any creature... *vomits*

Lightning bugs are pretty?

When I was little I had a lime green dress and a yellow dress, the lightening bugs loved them, my dad would have to pick em off me when I went inside the house for the night.

xuvrette 09-17-2013 02:30 AM

oh... that is lightning bugs... XD Never know their english name. XD
Never seen them before... T__T It is getting rarer as our concrete jungle grows.

Meh, doesn't bother me. I rather see bug guts than the bug alive.

Amane 09-17-2013 02:31 AM

That's where I see lightning bugs now. [lol] When I was little, once I went out in my grandparents' yard with my siblings and cousins and we all caught lightning bugs in jars. They died that same night. [:o]

I'm too scared to even kill bugs, for gosh sakes.
