He was worse than that. But this new guy actually honestly makes me smile. It takes a lot to make me smile (not counting my daughter, she makes me smile most of the time). But for a guy to make me smile, that means something.

The ability to make you smile seems like it should be a baseline requirement for any sort of relationship.

Absolutely. After being in an abusive relationship, being with someone who makes you smile is like night and day.

I just keep having to tell myself that this is true, and will all be ok, as it wouldn't just affect me if something happened, but my daughter as well, but he's ok with taking things slow so that's how we're taking things right now. I know I love him, but at the same time... slow is a good pace. Not rushing things, at all. :]

We've been married for almost two and a half years now.

I think taking it slow in a relationship is especially important since you have a small child.
You want him to be a great father figure if this is a serious relationship.

It is. Our busy season begins with Football Seaon and ends sometime after the Superbowl. It picks up a little during Summer.

Yes I do.

We ordered 10 pizzas from them for work, yesterday. I was in the back stocking when they arrived, but I hope my boss gave the delivery guy a good tip.

Oy. I still have the flu, but today is our last class before the midterm, so I really need to go.

We get big orders and they usually add the tip when they order or when the food is delivered.
