I just found this on Google, maybe it's worth a look-see: How to Sleep Better - Natural Sleep Aids at WomansDay.com - Woman's Day

I have tried things like that before, it doesn't work - honestly even though they're natural they make me wake up tired, because if I force myself to sleep before I'm tired, it just screws with me even more... Believe me, being an insomniac for as long as I have, you have tried most things to try to help. And I'm to the point where I do my homework at night, so I do make the most of my inability to sleep. And I learn to take naps during the day if needed. Just saying, I don't like staying up that late, but at least I can be productive. :P

You can go and look on my quest thread to see. :] But really it's all a work in progress.

And for the 80 degree temps, come to Southern California. I can still wear summer dresses in October. XD

Okay. Nice I just need to get the money to go.

I used to have problems with insomnia. I think the worst part of not being able to sleep was the knowledge that by the next evening I'd have a migraine.

:P The next week - today it's 81 currently, highs for the rest of the week: 84, 90, 88, 84, 84 (That's tomorrow through Monday. :P)

I think I hate you...
I've had arthritis in my knees since my freshman year of college, and when the temperture starts jumping around like it does in fall around here, it acts up.

... It's things like that that make me not want to stay around here. I already don't feel liked on Mene over all... -.-
Even if you don't fully mean it... WORDS hurt... -.- More than people realize...

Honestly, I don't like the constantly dependable temps... this isn't fall weather. D: I miss the fall colors. We don't have that down here. T_T I have issues with my ankles too, believe me, I know about pain during fall and winter... But I'd rather put up with that than having weather that doesn't keep you on your toes like I'm used to back home.

numerica 10-16-2013 06:51 PM

I didn't mean it at all, and I'm sorry if it seemed otherwise.
It was intended as a joke.
I appologize and will be more careful of my words in the future.

I agree that weather that never changes would be boring.

I think I would enjoy it more if it wasn't a necessity. I remember loving it as a kid, when I was young enough to have to stand on a stool to reach the sink.

I just bought the most awesome thing at the store! It's a scented candle that as it burns the jar it's in changes colors like an LED light or something! I could stare at it for hours!!

We have a dishwasher here, but I prefer hand-washing, even at 24 I still prefer doing it by hand [lol] I don't even have to be asked by my parent I'll just start doing it xD I'm random like that, I do things as the mood/thought strikes.

When I was a kid I enjoyed drying the dishes, Mom would wash and sis & I would dry them with a towel.

@crazy that sounds awesome! ^-^

llonka 10-16-2013 07:36 PM

I hate washing the dishes and laundry anymore. I'm beginning to hate all housework. :P

GwenaHikari 10-16-2013 07:44 PM

Laundry is my next love...but than I only do my own [lol]

xuvrette 10-16-2013 07:57 PM

Sounds like you people do 'love' housechores at one point of time?

I hate it, always. (not sure about future, but from my current standpoint, not a chance.)

crazymuch 10-16-2013 08:02 PM

I HATE dishes! I mean, it's not so bad once you get going on it, but the lead up to starting totally sucks.

We have a dishwasher so I make my son unload it and then I load it back up. But there is never enough room for everything so I end up having to hand wash some of the dishes. But we don't have a dish drainer so I have to lay down a towel on whatever counter space I can find. Then I have to immediately dry and put them away.

GwenaHikari 10-16-2013 08:07 PM

I also like sweeping and dusting & vacuuming [ninja]

My main complaint using a dishwasher is it feels like it takes longer....I feel like I can do it by hand in less time xD

Oh, that's not nice o.o I assume they gave you antibiotics for it?

xuvrette 10-16-2013 08:09 PM

Dishwasher at where I live, is considered a quite privilege machine.

Roxxyxy... aww. Are you fine now? Or do you need to follow up later?

Roxxxy 10-16-2013 08:12 PM

I am feeling a touch better, Got an IV bag of saline, and a script for painkillers and antibiotics.
I went there b/c my 'flu' symptoms had gotten dramatically worse. Turns out it's not the flu; they think I have IBS.
They recommended a gastroenterologist, but I don't have insurance [cry]

crazymuch 10-16-2013 08:15 PM

Our dishwasher is about on it's last legs too ... and takes a loooong time ... but it also sanitizes the dishes.

Oh gosh Roxxxy! What are you gonna do about the bills? If you are low income enough you might want to talk to billing. Sometimes they will prorate the bill or even excuse it totally ... I hope you get better fast!!

Maybe they be wrong and you just need the antibiotics (we can hope..)

Roxxxy 10-16-2013 08:16 PM

I dunno what to do. Right now, I'm gonna try to eat some soup and have a nap. :P
Your avi is cool, Crazy :D

xuvrette 10-16-2013 08:18 PM

Roxxxy 10-16-2013 08:19 PM
