Jet lag is the worst.

tiger: it is... but no, that isn't what I'm talking about here. It was the fact that I don't sleep well on planes. It is over a 24 hour flight all the way back with all the legs I had and by the time I was back in the States it was the middle of the night for me, so sure part of it was jet lag, but other part of it was really more just exhaustion from not sleeping enough and being terrified, as we hit massive turbulance on the fight from Sydney to LA... it was more exhaustion than anything. 3 hour drive, 2 hour wait at the airport, 2 hour flight, 2 hour wait, 14 hours flight back to the states, close to 4 hours in the airport as we got delayed, another 2 hour flight back to SF, and then 3 hours drive back home. Yeah, just exhausting. [yes] Jet Lag hit that night AFTER I got home. ((Times there are all rough as I don't fully remember the exact amount of time, so I rounded.))

I can't believe that I have to dress up as a superhero again, next week.
I need to find a way to modify my costume, a bit. Not sure what to do though.

Yeah, but it was worth it though. ^_^ Have you ever talked to Phoenixphyre on here? ((She's not been on in ages though, but does get on from time to time.)) That's who I went to go and visit - I was down there for nearly 3 weeks. :] It was so great to get to meet her in person. So it was worth the whole craziness of the traveling there and home for sure! [yes]

No I haven't, but that is really awesome.
That must have been a wonderful experience.

I've only met one other person in real life, that I met online, besides my husband.

Oh, I like that idea. Might have to get a zombie make up set from work. I don't really want to tear up the liquid leather pants or the top, might need them for more costumes.

Yeah, it was! We'd known each other for about 6 years before I flew down there to meet her. :] Yes, we met online. [yes] ^_^ And she's one of my best friends now, I consider her a sister to me. [heart]
And I've not met anyone else that I've met online in person, other than her. [yes]

Now I think I might just drive down to party city tomorrow after work, and look for a new, store bought super hero costume.

I'm thinking of a Supergirl costume. I must try on first though, sizes can be wonky.
I still have some work to do on my Halloween costume, no time to remake one for next week.

anyone ever feel like running away? i do right now. just as i think i'm ahead, more crap gets piled into my lap.

My biology teacher just dumped a huge project on us that is due tomorrow evening. He has the nerve to cancel class, but assign something like this? [stare] I'm so tired and worn out, I just wanted to sit on my tushie tomorrow. Not going to happen.

That what I think, or least give us until next class period. I also have to take a quiz over ch. 8 that he put up. we haven't even gone over ch. 8 in class. ugh.

i'm go lay down. I can't take it anymore.
