SZP ~ I did at least get a little more sleep. I think I slept about 90 minutes.
Really I need to find something to do to get my mind off of the day or I'm gonna start crying again.
I fought back tears a lot yesterday. It broke my heart last night seeing my brother in-law standing in front of the coffin of his wife. She was a sweet & silly woman & I loved her. Gonna miss seeing her. I'm worried about how their son is gonna deal with this, he is still so young he doesn't know what is going on.

I'm doing good Damia. Did have a class but it was released early so I am feeling pretty good right now.

Hi, Nymph. Nice outfit!

Thank you SZP. It was a gift from someone I started roleplaying with. They are really nice. Seems like that is the common theme around here.

Damia Flagg 11-08-2013 03:42 PM

What class was it?

That's good to hear.
Oh, the funeral was last night. Again, I'm so sorry. But, you know, I believe it's good to cry sometimes. Cleanses your soul, that's what my gran used to say.
How old is the kid?

History, which I am not a huge fan of. Me and history have never really gotten along.

Kinda like Sword Art Online, but with a World of Warcraft spin to it I guess. At least that's how I can best describe it. It's fairly new.

Kasumi 11-08-2013 03:56 PM

Hey everyone. I missed tiger and I wanted to go work with her. :(

Damia Flagg 11-08-2013 04:04 PM

SZP ~ no last night was receiving friends. The funeral is today in about 3 hours. Their son is 3 years old. His mom wasn't working so I'm sure he must be confused by her absence. I don't remember her working anytime after he was born. I thinks its nice when a parent can stay at home with their children during the early years.

EgotisticalNymph ~ history was a subject that I normally did like.

Hello again Kasumi.

Kasumi 11-08-2013 04:08 PM

Hey Damia.

Hello again Kasumi.

Wow, I can't imagine what he's feeling. I hope it'll get easier for him to understand, though it's obviously going to be hard now. I'll say a special prayer for you guys today.

It is nice, yes? Kids get a bit of grounding. I lived with my grandparents from the time I was born. It was hard for my mum being a single parent and studying. But, she was always calling and there was always family around so it was lovely.

Damia Flagg 11-08-2013 04:22 PM

Thank you.
My mom didn't go back to work until I was in school. I think maybe 2nd or 3rd grade. I appreciate here staying home with us. I know we struggled some financially, but I think my brother & I turned out better for having her there with us while we were young. I hate more families can't do that. I can imagine it was hard on your mom & its great that your grandparents were there to help.

llonka 11-08-2013 04:33 PM

I think it's better for the kids when mom stays home. [yes]

My poor bubba is sick or so he said... i called him in sick and now he's running around like a looney toon. [stare]

Damia Flagg 11-08-2013 04:35 PM

llonka ~ did he have a test today or does he just want some Mommy time?

llonka 11-08-2013 04:35 PM

He did throw up and his eyes look funny. He was complaining his head hurt too. Who knows.

Oooo, sounds fishy [XP]

Damia Flagg 11-08-2013 04:37 PM

He may of just had a lot of sinus drainage during the night, then once he got it up it made him feel better.
It happens to me sometimes.

Yeah, it was hard. But she's always saying now that it helped her grow up a little! I still live with my grandad 'cause he's old and I worry about him. Mum and I are very very close and there's my little brother now. He's helping her get by a lot... the little imp!

llonka 11-08-2013 04:45 PM

I have asthma also. Keep checking on especially while he is asleep & make sure he is not wheezing. Usually I start wheezing during the night before I get sick, then it turns into bronchitis if I don't get it taken care of quick enough.

Dear, dear! Steaming with eucalyptus oil helps with that.

Thanks for the tip!

I'm smelling cat spray pretty bad today, I wonder if that is making him sick. I've been telling hubby for a while now I think it's the cats but he doesn't want to give away the bad ones.

Yeah, my aunt has asthma. When it starts acting up a bit, you fill a bowl with boiling water, add some eucalyptus oil until you can smell it strongly. Then you make kiddie bend over the bowl with a towel over his head and breathe. Usually helps!

Steam never did help me, just makes me cough more.
I find the smell of tea tree oil help me some.
I haven't tried eucalyptus before I will have to look for some.

When mine gets really bad I have to use a nebulizer. If I use it too much I end up with a headache.

Oh, yes, tea tree is good too. I swear by eucalyptus, it really makes a difference.

Pirate Booty 11-08-2013 05:02 PM

I use tea tree & sweet oil mixed together a lot for earaches. Just put a little on a cotton ball & gentle place in your ear, especially if you are gonna have to be outside on a cold or windy day.
It usually helps some with the stuff nose too.

llonka 11-08-2013 05:06 PM

Cool! I'll have to look for some. I have some tree tea oil.
Kaleb has a nebulizer too.
