They are of Native American Mythology. The creature is a shapeshifter inthe form of a beautiful woman and she has deer hooves.

We are still hoping that it will.
The operator announced next weeks line-up & said she hoped to see everyone back around Easter, so I hope that is a good sign.
We don't know because this one wasn't the one in the Save our Drive-in campaign.
It was the other one owned by that family. They did have some of the local college students there tonight working on a documentary.

Kasumi 11-23-2013 05:31 AM

Later everyone see you in the morning.

Wonderlands 11-23-2013 05:35 AM

Oo drive-in movies. We apparently had two but have closed either around or before I was born which is such a shame because they just look so cool!

Hi Damia!

I agree Ender's Game was Awesome! But, I haven't had a chance to see Catching Fire yet. Hopefully it will be soon!

Hubby said Ender's Game was pretty close to the book, of course some stuff was edited out. He was very happy with it. I haven't read the books, but I knew enough about many of the characters going into the movie.

Catching Fire is worth seeing, still haven't finished reading the books yet. I need to sometime soon, just need more time in the day.

That is sad. We are afraid ours will close because the movie studios are all going to digital movies & very few drive-in can afford the $80,000-$100,000 that a digital projector cost.
I have been going to this drive-in since I was 6 years old. So it would be hard to see it close. So we just keep hoping it won't have to.

Our drive-in does have some great chili cheese fries, probably will regret eating them later tonight.

I never actually saw any of them, the operator announced they were there. She asked people to be nice & talk to them if they came up to them.

Oh yeah, the digital format has just taken over which sucks for reasons like thing. That's so expensive! The upkeep would be very pricey too I can imagine.
Oh no, it's like you've grown up with it, that's so sad! Do they have sponsors or anything to help them out?

Hahah, never regret chili cheese fries!

I'd love to read those since I've got time now, but I'm currently reading A Song of Ice and Fire. It seems like those are going to keep me busy for a while XD

mmm, chili cheese french fries
[drool]

Wonderlands 11-23-2013 06:00 AM

I wish I could say that I've actually had them but they just look and sound super good!

Damia Flagg 11-23-2013 06:08 AM

They are good, it homemade chili & nacho cheese & fresh made fries. yummy
They have always made good chili.

I don't think they have a sponsor. I'm hoping maybe that was part of the reason the college students were there tonight.
