Oo drive-in movies. We apparently had two but have closed either around or before I was born which is such a shame because they just look so cool!

Hubby said Ender's Game was pretty close to the book, of course some stuff was edited out. He was very happy with it. I haven't read the books, but I knew enough about many of the characters going into the movie.

Catching Fire is worth seeing, still haven't finished reading the books yet. I need to sometime soon, just need more time in the day.

That is sad. We are afraid ours will close because the movie studios are all going to digital movies & very few drive-in can afford the $80,000-$100,000 that a digital projector cost.
I have been going to this drive-in since I was 6 years old. So it would be hard to see it close. So we just keep hoping it won't have to.

Our drive-in does have some great chili cheese fries, probably will regret eating them later tonight.

Oh yeah, the digital format has just taken over which sucks for reasons like thing. That's so expensive! The upkeep would be very pricey too I can imagine.
