Oh, DD made that? I always thought it looked pretty neat. Nice job! 8D

@Nim: I knew it! [illgetu]

[lol]

dessertdesiert 09-09-2013 10:35 AM

Why is there a steak now?

RoadToGallifrey 09-09-2013 10:52 AM

Morning~ :)

dessertdesiert 09-09-2013 11:08 AM

Morning vinyl, how are you doing?

RoadToGallifrey 09-09-2013 11:37 AM

Not too shabby ta, how about you?

dessertdesiert 09-09-2013 11:42 AM

I am excited/ nervous, but it's all good. How's school going for you?

Antagonist 09-09-2013 01:11 PM

lmfao Now I have a piece of steak alongside the pickle...[rofl] *cackling like a maniac*

Cora 09-09-2013 01:15 PM

Steak?

That really wasn't me.

Antagonist 09-09-2013 01:18 PM

This time it was probably Iku...[lol]

RoadToGallifrey 09-09-2013 01:33 PM

@DD: Ooh what are you excited for? I don't start uni until the 23rd but I move down on Sunday for Fresher's Week where you register properly for your course and get to participate in fun activities and meet other people. :)

[lol] Back when I was on vacation with my friends in Japan, and we saw their morning rush, they were all wearing suits and ties and holding briefcases but some of them have insanely colored hair or have their hair styled so that they're spiking everywhere, etc. It was awesome.

Sadly here in Taiwan it's a lot more strict. Some companies don't mind, but most do, and schools are even stricter. Back in middle and high school, guys aren't allowed to have hair longer past their ears (and they have to trim their sideburns as well), hair must be shaved upwards to at least three centimeters from their necks, etc. etc...and both guys and girls aren't allowed to dye or curl their hair. Earrings and nail polish aren't allowed either.

I've heard that China's even more strict with their dress code...I am so happy I did not ever live or go to school there. [sweat]

Yeah. The Japanese often find ways to put all of their personality into their hair!! [XD]
Damn.. I am also glad I don't live in China O___O Not being able to have my hair as long as it is? I wouldn't be a chick magnet any more!! [rofl]

But women aren't even allowed to really wear little bits of accessories like earrings and stuff? That's all women like to do though! [:O]

Antagonist 09-09-2013 02:59 PM

lol I'm sure you look fine with short hair too. Actually, I think a mohawk would suit you...

Probably not ALL women, but close enough. [XD] Back in high school a lot of the girls in my class would rather have the officers (I have no idea what to call them in English...they're soldiers assigned to each school to help maintain order, teach classes (nursing for women and soldiering for the guys though girls get their cycle of soldiering training too), and stuff) mark them for dying/curling their hair/putting on nail polish/earrings than go without. [lol]

But anyway um, I'm not sure if the topic was mentioned in this thread or the other one, but here's that picture of my hair in all its messy glory. [XD]

...Yeah. I need a haircut.

RoadToGallifrey 09-09-2013 03:01 PM

I really want to braid your hair <3

McNugget 09-09-2013 03:18 PM

You really think I'd look good with a mohawk? I'm not so sure on that... I have feminine features so I don't think a mohawk would compliment it well since my face will be shown bare.... It's one of the reasons I like my hair long, it covers my face so people don't see it too well.

Wow Dan! Your hair looks pretty cool! [XD]

Antagonist 09-09-2013 03:49 PM

@Bucket Tea: It's probably not long enough to braid yet. [XD]

@Nuggets: Yeah! And your face isn't that feminine...maybe by non-Asian standards, but you look like a normal male to me. The long hair actually threw me off at first. [XD]; You don't have to cut it too short, it could be shoulder-length and then you can style it so that it sticks outwards artistically and it would look cool. [:)]

And really?! Thanks [XD] I kinda like it better when tied up because it isn't as messy, but tying it up is such a hassle...[gonk]

McNugget 09-09-2013 04:18 PM

All I said was that I have feminine features, I didn't say "VERY feminine" [lol] Just.. "feminine" because my features are on the soft side.
My long hair threw you off? Huh? O___O

Hmmm... I don't know about any of those styles, I have seen them overly used. I'd want something more unique, I just don't know what [XD]

You're welcome Dan. I don't think your hair looks messy at all though. And it will get easier to tie up if you let it get a bit longer [yes]

Antagonist 09-09-2013 04:23 PM

Ah. [XD]

Well, when I first chatted with you, I thought, "Guy", then one day you posted a picture, and I thought, "Huh? I thought Nuggets is a guy? Wait...uh...whaaaa...????" [XD]

I think the brightness of the picture and how your brilliantly shiny and well-kept hair threw me off. [lol] Most of the guys I've seen with long hair have their hair all messy even if they did try to maintain it.

My personal favorite from the ones I posted is the last one; I'd love to have that kind of hair myself if I wasn't too lazy to style it every morning only to have my scooter helmet crush everything into oblivion anyway. [rofl]

I guess my hair's currently in the middle-ground...to cut or not to cut, that is the question...[XD]

RoadToGallifrey 09-09-2013 04:26 PM

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't see why most guys with long hair are inept at using shampoo [gonk]

McNugget 09-09-2013 04:32 PM

Dan - Wow! So my hair gives an odd impression! [lol] I really don't even do much with my hair honestly. I wash it with any random shampoo and conditioner I get at the store and brush it when it seems appropriate to do so. I guess I'm just lucky? [lol]
Hmmm... Well, if you want to cut it you should.. Or you could keep growing it out and see what happens. Your hair, your choice!

What does that mean? Huh? o_O

mysticeyes2987 09-09-2013 04:39 PM

Afternoon everyone ^_^

And yes, Iku, Maria has told me all the good things! So far everything she's told me has been accurate XD

McNugget 09-09-2013 04:46 PM

Good evening Mystic~ Or atleast, it's evening over here! [lol]

Antagonist 09-09-2013 05:06 PM

Well if the profs don't say anything, I guess I'll try to grow it longer and see what happens. [XD]

Aaaaand wtf Nuggets? You got the pickle and steak in your signature too? [shock]

McNugget 09-09-2013 05:41 PM

I guess I do~ [lol]

I think it suits me though~

RoadToGallifrey 09-09-2013 05:44 PM

That the vast majority of guys with long hair don't maintain it. Half of the time it doesn't even look brushed. D;

McNugget 09-09-2013 05:48 PM

I don't think I do any more to my hair than most other guys though~ [lol]
