I didn't sleep well last night because I heard thunder. I do NOT like storms. They terrify me, and it's horrible that they usually happen at night when I need to sleep. I can't sleep if I'm scared!

I don't mind rain. I love rain! (both kinds /K-pop ninja) But the moment I hear a rumble of thunder, I'm covering my ears and trying to sleep through it. It's really hard to fall asleep with your fingers shutting your ears.

I think what really makes me not like storms is that sometimes they knock the power out. At my house, something in the kitchen makes an awful high-pitched noise when the power goes out/surges. And it makes it a little when it comes back on. It scares me out of my wits and bothers me a LOT. When I found out that wasn't normal, I was mad.

Thunder makes me nervous sometimes, but I'm not super scared of it. I think ruru doesn't like it though

When you know that the power is going to go off because of the storm overhead you should unplug major appliances. So that way when they come back on they are not surged with power. Obviously you can't unplug the fridge or huge things like that.
