Like I told Clockie once, all I've ever felt the need for in life is at least one friend. A good friend who has a lot in common with me that I can talk to about anything. No romance, no children, nothing like that. I used to think I'd change my mind, but then I found a whole community of other people who feel the same way I do (well, most of them anyway). I don't feel weird or confused anymore. [639]

Awww, that's great! [hug] There are still some things in my life that I'm still working through. I'm comfortable with who I am, but I just wish I could tell everyone, without them freaking out. I'm still scared to tell my parents, because they're still a huge help and I'm afraid that I'd be lost without their help. So I still have to hide who I am from them. :(

I haven't told my family about me because they'll be like, "Oh, you're still young. That's normal. You'll change your mind. *more typical rejections of asexuality*" It could be a worse thing I have to say, though. My mom is very religious and my dad is just rude about the particular thing I'm thinking of, and I think you can figure out what I'm talking about.
