Sorry, just super stressed and haven't been feeling social lately. My parents really are pissing me off. :(
But my soon to be in-laws really stepped up, my soon to be mother in law is watching Norah for the week while I work, and has told me that as long as she's not busy she's more than willing to watch her if needed. [heart] that helps, a bit, not a full solution, but at least I have someone who can watch her this week, so I can work. That's a plus at least. |

I don't know, but they're stupid - my parents. But basically if Dan and I can get this all worked out, my parents will just miss out on being a bigger part of their granddaughter's life, and his parents are more than willing to step up and help, given they're not busy. :) More than my parents are right now. [yes]

Clock: Yeah, they're great people and don't seem to mind that Dan and I want to move in together, and his mother is already in love with Norah, so this just gives her a reason to get to know her better. :)
Amane: My parents aren't really noisy, just really opinionated, and I only know what they would do if they knew the side of me that I won't ever tell them - my brother knows and is ok with it, but my parents, they'll never know. I'm Bi and they would disown me if they ever found out, it would be 100 times worse than what's going on right now. :/ |
Because of the loudness, my family is opinionated, and nothing is off-limits. I like to keep a lot of things private. They don't get that. ("We're family! You can tell us anything!") When I hint at my aromantic asexuality, they say, "You'll change your mind someday!" They're so sure I'll bring them more little relatives someday. Ha ha ha.
