It's kind of funny since I did recently end up in a situation with some friends where the easiest way for us to talk to each other is in a chatroom.

I just discovered Discord and that makes chatting so much easier for people I'm playing games with. And I don't want to have to add people I don't really know to my Facebook or give them my cell phone number just to talk to them, you know? So I think we should all just start using simple messengers again, or even chat rooms because I'd enjoy that.

I didn't get internet until I was in my mid-teens (22 now for reference), and even then it wasn't active all the time. So I missed the whole AIM thing XD I missed a lot of the early internet times but I do remember playing PC DOOM!!!! Loved that game :D

Guys, I'm trying to make my house less cluttered. It's working a bit. I just got rid of a bunch of old clothes, that cleared up the hall, because the boxes were just sitting there, and I kept forgetting. xDD |

Yep. xD So, I started my Korean lessons from the beginning even though I know some things. I just want to start from the bottom, reinforce what I already know, and get it all in my head. I have a flash cards app that goes over vocabulary, and I'm listening to grammar podcasts from TTMIK. I can't find my lesson notes (I printed them two years ago), so I have to print them out all over again. |
Something's happening in the stars, because I'm seeing a lot of people (including myself) decide to get serious again and focus on old goals.
