OMG, Wonder woman's invisible plane was hysterical [lol]

Mythos 05-20-2013 06:34 PM

Skulduggery: Haha, yeah! But if we take it out on the water far enough no one will see.

Papillon: xD I had forgotten about that!

I agree with Kandra, your avatar background is brilliant

jellysundae 05-20-2013 06:51 PM

It's too quiet in here. Talk to me people, wake me up ><

Mythos 05-20-2013 06:55 PM

On the dangerous subject of food... Jelly... do you know where I can buy dark chocolate oranges this time of year?
They were just about everywhere in Winter, but I could really use one now that it's exam season. :o

jellysundae 05-20-2013 07:01 PM

HA!! Good ol' Terry's Chocolate Orange [lol] Those are such a festive stereotype. But in all honesty, no, I don't. Never been impressed with Terry's chocolate myself [ninja]

You can get the individually wrapped segments on Ebay? TERRYS CHOCOLATE ORANGE MILK DARK DUO CHOCOLATE SEGSATIONS - WEDDING FAVOURS | eBay

Mythos 05-20-2013 07:06 PM

Ohh... hm... tempting but then again there is something great about holding a sphere of solid chocolate... [drool]
It isn't the best chocolate by any stretch of the imagination, but the dark chocolate version is definitely the best IMO.

:o What kind of chocolate do you like?

Kamikaze Kendra 05-20-2013 07:09 PM

Mythos, do you have a World Market or Meijer's or anything like that anywhere near you? They tend to be year round items there.

---------- Post added 05-20-2013 at 03:09 PM ----------

I'm kind of surprised that the houseboat is still open! *lounges on deck*

jellysundae 05-20-2013 07:11 PM

I like Cadbury's, because it still tastes like chocolate [ninja]

The "tap it and unwrap it" thing with chocolate oranges is definitely part of their appeal [yes]

Kamikaze Kendra 05-20-2013 07:13 PM

It really is.
And despite the fact that I'm sure the orange to chocolate ratio is the same throughout...I always find that I like the little core piece the most. Is that strange? Haha

Mythos 05-20-2013 07:15 PM

Kendra: Unfortunately not. This city is rather small. : \
I also like the core the most! I think it might be the texture? Maybe?

Jelly: Mmm... okay I'm with you there. Cadbury's is hard to beat!

Kamikaze Kendra 05-20-2013 07:17 PM

Awww. I'm sorry, Mythos. It was worth a try. :(
Order some online? That's always an option these days!

Hmm... maybe it is a texture thing! That could explain it! Glad to know I'm not the only crazy one! haha

jellysundae 05-20-2013 07:19 PM

Though I adore Daim bars. But those aren't cheap :( I have one in the cupboard in the kitchen, but I'm holding off from eating it [ninja]

hummy 05-20-2013 07:25 PM

wouldn't the invisible houseboat make us invisible, too?

Mythos 05-20-2013 07:25 PM

I haven't heard of one of those before...

:3 Thanks Kendra. I'll definitely end up eyeballing a World Market site by the end of the month. Orange flavored dark chocolate is a weakness of mine! xD

That would be cool if it did, Hummy!

Kamikaze Kendra 05-20-2013 07:27 PM

Things like that make me look forward to my Chocolates and Centerpieces class next fall! Sugar work and our first week of chocolates we get to make our own truffles. I'm thinking mine will end up having some form of citrus influence... haha

Skulduggery 05-20-2013 07:39 PM

Before this closes, I want to say, goodbye!~ See you at the next hangout.

Mythos 05-20-2013 07:40 PM

[excited] if you need help with taste testers...! Kidding, I'm sure you know plenty of people who would be happy to help ; )
Lemon chocolate is also good... oooh or lemon-cherry chocolate. I had that once and I went weak in the knees.

Truffles are fun. I've only made very simple ones, though. Will you be making sugar glass in your class? That stuff is so neat!

jellysundae 05-20-2013 07:40 PM

Daim are Scandinavian [yes] They have a delicious crunchy, buttery, caramelly centre [drool]

Not sure what other orange chocolate there might be -ponders- Particularly on a student's budget!

Kamikaze Kendra 05-20-2013 07:44 PM

Mythos - Haha. I'll keep that in mind! You know, if I get to take any home and they last long enough to get to a post office... x3

I'm sure we will! A big part of the sugars portion of the class is centerpieces, and we get to do all kinds of sugar work for that one! Including blown sugar, which just sounds like fun!

jelly - To the google!!

---------- Post added 05-20-2013 at 03:46 PM ----------

Lindt does some dark chocolate and orange Lindor truffles

jellysundae 05-20-2013 07:49 PM

Lindor are nasty [puke]

Kamikaze Kendra 05-20-2013 07:50 PM

Yeah, but they're an option. xD
I'm not a fan of their chocolate... it's waxy.

---------- Post added 05-20-2013 at 03:50 PM ----------

It was just the first thing to pop up on google. haha

Sereh 05-20-2013 07:50 PM

Is the new hangout up yet?

Mythos 05-20-2013 07:51 PM

x_x those look magical, Jelly!

Kendra: So cool! My food decorating skill stops at butter cream icing and by that I mean I am able to make a rose... and a mess. xD

See you in the next hang out, Skul!

Yeah I'm just a sweetheart that way, in letting her use it.

I'm at work and when my boss doesn't have any work for me or I'm on break, she lets me use the internet =D

star2000shadow 05-20-2013 07:54 PM
