Tablet gaming?
So, there are threads about console and/or handheld* gaming here. But I'm thinking tablet gamers need to get a little more conversation going.
So, what are you currently playing on your tablet? And what are you using? Me: using a iView 760TPC purchased off newegg a year or so ago, and running Android 4.0. Currently playing: Triple Town, Battleloot Adventure, and Major Mayhem. I wish I could get Sims Freeplay to run on my tablet, but for some reason, Google thinks my tablet is a Motorola Xoom. lolwut? (* for intents and purposes in this thread, I'm considering pretty much GB/GBA/DS/3DS, PSP/Vita, and even Game Gear and Lynx as handhelds. I guess technically, tablets are handhelds, but I'm talking about tablet-specific gaming, here. As far as phones go(since they do run Android or iOS), your mileage may vary...) |
The only tablet in my house is for my little sister. I find using it is impossible to me since I'm too used to using a mouse. I keep on doing something that makes the tablet hate me... My sister likes it though she has all of her kids games, disney jr videos and everything on there. She sits in front of it for a good hour so if I need to quiet her down when her mom is sleeping I plug it into the outlet next to the couch and she sits there playing on it then I can play on my laptop for a bit lol! Good R&R time~

And of course, I have a couple memory cards laden with videos, text, etc. -- you know, to keep me from being bored, lol. |
Do emulators on smartphones count? I don't really play games on my phone but I do have SuperGNES installed on my Android phone.
@ onsenmark: Itinerary apps are awesome! I just wish I could use them more. [cry] |
Dark Meadows is probably the best game I've played on my tablet. It's beautifully designed, smooth graphics, and a creepy atmosphere that provides a good bit of tension without being too frightening.
