I've kind of neglected Animal Crossing for Pokemon. All my neighbours are like where have you been?! D:

@Wonderlands - I've done the same thing. It's tough, though, when your husband has gone all hard core with Pokemon...because it's fun to help him with projects. Like right now I'm still farming for an Adamant ditto.

In the meantime, though, I did get a set of the Fedora Chairs, and a set of sushi platters. llonka: gets first dibs [hug], but I do have an extra 2 of each for anyone who didn't get a chance to get down to McDs while the promo was going on. :3

I need to get on there, I've been so busy with homework. I'm sorry Izumi! Maybe we can meet up later today?

I managed to ninja the sushi platter from the parking lot of McD's yesterday. My town is so full of weeds now, thanks Pokemon! [lol]

I know, Belly!! D: It's tough though because Pokemon is, like, super awesome.

Llonka should play. [yes] Even if you've not been into pokemon previously, I think they've done an excellent job to really perfect what was already a super fun game...that I think you may like it too.

I finally came around to getting the 3Ds a few days ago.
And of course had to get Animal Crossing. Which I am loving!
I might actually go hardcore for once and like, make paths with designs and stuff.
I dont usually.
But I think I can finally motivate myself this time. Hahaha.

No one I knows likes the Animal Crossing games even - I think thats why I give up after a bit. And never feel motivated to make my town anything more then weed free. lol

Turnips.
I never use to be into those eithier.
But this Animal crossing game looks sooo Bell intenisve with public works, more house upgrades....etc that I feel I NEED to get into the stock market. lol
So yeah. Spent the 130,00 bells I made in the past 2 days to get all the turnips I could at 98 bell buying price.
So.
Yeah. Does anyone keep up with the stalk market? Just curious. :3
Id love to actually make a profit and be rich for once! Bahahaha.

Pokemon... i have mixed feelings. I mean it was kinda fun way back when, but I feel almost as if they've added so many new pokemon that i would be totally lost. Maybe not, I dunno. :P

Yep! They definitely sell it on the estore. I think you would love it. If you have any fond memories of playing the original, this is like the original on drugs. I mean the graphics are gorgeous, there's even more pokemon to catch and a new fairy type. :D (More cute pokemon [squee]) Also there is a whole handful of pokemon with these super cool mega evolutions. Definitely a lot of fun. :3

There's like over 700+ pokemon now if you're trying to catch them all. I'll be honest though and the gym leaders aren't quite the same level of difficulty as older versions. They're not super easy, but they're not that hard either.

Plus a lot of pokemon have different colorations depending on region you catch them in or what area of the world you're in. O_o

The stock market seems simple enough as from what I gathered. Buy turnips on Sunday mornings (before noon) and sell them any time during the week for a higher price ^.^
The turnips prices change twice every day. Before and After Noon - and turnips rot Sunday at 6am.

It totally looks better! I agree, just not sure how to go about it? What designs to use for paths? That sorta thing lol

I'm torn about the whole digital/physical question. It's very convenient to have a digital copy, as it's less you've got to carry around with you. I've forgotten to bring my cartridges with me and have found myself wondering if I should make the jump.

The only thing is then you can't sell them...and while I really only get a very small fraction of what I paid, it's still nice knowing I can do that and get something back towards something new. Not only that but I worry that if it is all on an ecopy, if something were to happen to my DS where it wouldn't function properly how would I get my copy of my game back? D:

And about stock market and Animal Crossing...I've bought turnips once or twice, but in honesty I never got into the whole Stalk Market exchange. I found making bells on ACNL pretty easy by going to the island and going fishing/bug hunting. What I would do is scare away what I could that I knew sold for crap, and then sell what I had to catch on the island if the return price wasn't high...then throw everything that I knew would go for a high price in my basket to take back. It sounds like a long, tedious process however once you've done it a few times it's ingrained and you know the moment you catch it if it is crap or worthwhile.

I think I stole love the feel of a game in my hands. And the smell of those instruction booklets I never read. rofl
It just looks nice having them sit on my book shelf.

I just paid my first one after fishing all day for 50K... thinking it was that much rofl.
But do I wait now? Or what? lol

Nope...the island literally takes like a week worth of playing then it automatically unlocks. Then you'll have the ability to get tropical fish any time of day and can fill up your basket...then when the shop in town is open you can sell it. It sounds like a lot of work, but like I said I had it down pretty well and I would sit and watch TV while doing my fishing. :)

You can also catch rare stag beetles for lotsa money on the island.

Oh yes Summer is when I usually made money in AC:CF.
Stuff my pockets and house full of beetles that spawned during the night, the cheapest being 1000 bells and many of them being 10,000 haha.
Come morning Id have a 400K haul!

It's kind of annoying how it isn't all day. :/ I had to go somewhere at 6 and didn't come back until after it finished. Looks like I'm going to have to time travel!

I got the sushi platter last night at McD's. The Nintendo Zone wouldn't work from where I sat in the car so I had to go in to try the connection. It still took like 10 minutes to get a working signal. -_-

EDIT: For those of you who play in public, have you ever had anyone approach you about playing Animal Crossing? It's happened to me like three times already in public transit. The other day I was talking to one lady who had the best house in my HHA showcase. It was kinda cool to be able to travel around her town. :3 I gave her some blue roses cause she was talking about what a pain it was to breed them, haha.

I was there for a while. It was just not working for me.
Kinda sucks cause its the closest Nintendo Zone too >.<
Hopefully next item - it will work for me lol
