I hate the Harvest Festival so much. [lol] I got on very late and was unlucky to find that all the requested items were various fish, didn't manage to catch a single one before running out of time. Boo!

On a positive note, I think I almost have enough weeds to trigger the minigame finally. It's been driving me nuts running past them and not pulling them, haha. Also, all my new townspeople appear to be the "jock" type & I just love those little weirdos. [heart]


Does anyone have a spare forest wall from the mush set they'd like to trade for something?

I did the festival for about an hour, hour and a half. I got stuck on my third dish as I didn't have any skinny mushrooms in town. I tried to swap some ingredients around as it seems like the villagers will give you fruit, but didn't end up getting any. I got a fruit bowl and a harvest lamp. I think the only seasonal one of a kind item I didn't get was the cornucopia. I was hoping to, but just got stuck. I found the gathering thing fun, but frustrating that one can get stuck since it's a once a year kind of thing...

Oh and I don't think I got the forest wallpaper...I got a couple of the forest floors, though. :/

OMG I hate the Harvest Festival too! That damn turkey! [illgetu] I got stuck on the very first dish, he wanted seaweed and I looked FOREVER before i finally said forget this and turned it off. Not to mention the music! It was cute at first but got REALLY annoying after awhile.

Seaweed took me a few dives to find it...but it wasn't impossible.

I did make the mistake of picking my mushrooms and selling them before starting the quest. The website I was using suggested stockpiling items so that you were ready in advance. Kind of wish I took them up on that advice...

Harvest Festival sucked, I didn't prepare for it at all and when it all came down I got stuck on my first recipe. I ran around for two hours trying to catch a red snapper. Nothing. Sigh, oh well. Toy Day next!

I still don't have enough weeds. [cry] I think I'm about to lose it and pull the things. It makes me crazy to run past and leave them.

I got on AC for the first time in at least a month... and was surprised that no one moved out, apparently. In fact, someone was moving in just a short distance south from my main's house. [XD]

Pate just moved into my town! He was one of yours, right? Or maybe it's just a coincidence. :) His house is super cute & cozy inside. I love that it's started snowing. Fishing tournament this weekend, too! Maybe I won't miss it this time. [lol]

I feel kinda bad now...I took my DS to my parent's house for Thanksgiving then never plugged it back in to charge since coming back. I haven't even switched it on.

I'm tempted though as now there's snow you can build snowmen and get snow related decorations from them.

In my town the ground is still the orangey fall ground, but there's snow falling & the bulletin board says to expect lots of snow tomorrow. :) Cute little transition going on, I dig it.

I didn't play for a long while. [ninja] So last night I spent about 3 hours doing stuff for the Harvest festival. Including time travelling to stock pile mushrooms. In the end I was able to get everything and completed all the dishes with the secret ingredient. It was neat and cute, but I wish the reward was better. A fruit basket and a cornucopia for all that? [gonk]

Looking forward to December's event though. [eager] I'm still time travelling to catch up to the current day just so I don't miss stuff and can get things to pay off my house. The Jingle set seems cute to me though I'll probably buy to just to have in my catalog and then resell. [XD]

I've been pretty lazy too. I'll probably play quite a bit today though because we'll have to no power while a tree is getting cut down in the back yard. Hopefully everything goes well!

I've been ordering lots of festive trees and selling them at ReTail to my neighbors so that they are forced to celebrate Christmas. Muahaha! This is like the only snow/tacky decorating I'm gonna get this year so I've been going a little nuts. ;D

Aww I haven't had any festive trees for sale yet, but that's a fun idea! [lol]

I'm totally stealing Belly's idea once the Nooklings finally get a tree in... [ninja]

I caught some snowflakes! [:O] I'm still on the 7th (I think) so no snow balls to make snow people yet. But it seems like neat thing!

I've been trying all morning to make snowmama but I keep breaking the snow balls. :( Do you have to stay on the snow or what? I've never been able to make snow people very well.

I was able to make a snowman just now by staying on the snow (I was lucky that both parts were on the same half of the map) and rolling really slowly - but I got my proportions wrong and only wound up with an imperfect "Snowboy." Looks like that one doesn't give prizes unless he's perfect, according to this guide that I only looked at after I messed up. :S

If anyone manages to get a functioning Snowpapa, looks like we can share those!

YES! Another tree sales victim! ;D Now if I can just get Samson to get rid of that giant dinosaur pelvis he's had in the center of his living room for months. [lol]
