Jesse nodded and headed back towards Bobby's.

He wasn't quite ready to hear a startled yell and Dean swearing, though. That's when he let Runa take the lead again.

Runa blinked at the swearing and hurried up a bit. She stopped when she saw what was happening. The black Impala wasn't there, and Dean was standing over someone, yelling.

"Hey, what's going on?" she asked, going over to Dean.

"I don't know, but my car is gone, and this person is here," Dean said, handing over a jacket to the naked man sitting on the ground blinking. "I left Baby right here, I swear to god if this is some sick joke..."

The guy looked up at Dean, eyes a bit hurt even as he accepted the jacket.

"But I'm right here," he said, his voice just slightly desperate. "I haven't gone anywhere."

Runa blinked. Okay, this was officially weird.

Dean paused at that. "But I don't know who you are," he pointed out, clearly frustrated and trying not to snap at the crazy dude.

The guy's eyes widened a bit at that, and he looked upset. That made Runa pause again as more dots connected in her head.

"Wait a second," she said, going over. She knelt down in front of him. "...Baby?"

Blue eyes flicked over to her as soon as she said it, and the guy gave a tiny, almost unnoticeable nod.

Dean's jaw literally dropped open. "No way," he said, looking down at the man. "No freakin' way."

"I told you I didn't go anywhere," Baby said, looking at Dean again. Runa just glanced at Jesse, raising an eyebrow.

Jesse shrugged, looking guilty. Oops.

"This is... I haven't had enough to drink." Dean rubbed his eyes. "Jesus." He turned and stomped back into the house.

"Okay," Runa said, still kneeling in front of Baby. "Okay, we can figure this out. As soon as I know what we did."

Sam saw his brother storm back inside.

"What's going on?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't even know." Dean grabbed a beer from the fridge. "Baby isn't Baby anymore, there's this dude out there saying he's Baby, and I have not had enough booze."

Sam blinked.

"Run that by me again, in English?" he asked. "What, exactly, are you not drunk enough for?"

"My Baby is a dude," Dean said, glowering. "Go look." He waved to hand with the beer at the door and the yard and where his precious car had been.

Sam rolled his eyes at his brother, but headed outside to see what was going on. When he saw the unfamiliar person and the two cambions, though, he paused.

"Okay, you're going to have to explain this to me," he said. Runa turned around.

"Oh, good, I was going to send Jesse to get you," she said. "This is a training exercise gone horribly wrong and we may need you to fix it."

"Not my fault," Jesse said. "Mostly. Kind of. I didn't know what I was doing?" He was half-hiding behind Runa by this point. Baby just blinked at everyone.

"Like I said, training gone wrong," Runa said, waving a hand. "But now we have to fix it and I'm not entirely sure yet if Jesse or I will be able to."

"What do you expect me to do?" Sam asked. Runa just looked at him, raised an eyebrow, and flashed her eyes black for a moment. "Ah, so it's that kind of problem."

"Yeah, sorry about that," Jesse said, shifting his weight. "Hopefully it'll just be a quick fix?" Because he really wasn't sure how he'd turned a car into a person.

"We'll fix this," Runa said, turning back to study Baby, "it's all good." Her eyes flashed black again as she gently poked and prodded with her own power to see what Jesse had managed to do.

Sam sighed and leaned against one of the porch pillars, just watching them. He'd let the two cambion try to figure things out, first. He was the king, not some clean-up crew. But he would help if they really needed it.

Kyra moved outside as well and snorted quietly.

"Well, this looks fun," she said with a little grin. "The 'oops what did I do and how do I fix it'."

"Hush, you," Runa said, sitting back on her heels and looking at her friend, though she was grinning a bit. "I'm trying to figure out how we got from '69 Chevy to Confused Guy and how to reverse it again."

"...Wow, okay, yeah, not my brand of crazy," Kyra said, shaking her head. "Good luck with that."

"Thanks, we'll need it," Runa said. She sighed a bit and glanced at Jesse. "Okay, walk me through exactly what you think you did, here."

"There's the Army guy stuck in the car, or there was," Jesse said. "So I just kind of... pictured him as a real person?"

"And made it so," Kyra added dryly.

"And instead of the little Army guy, you got the whole car instead," Runa said. "Okay. Not as complicated as I thought, then. But still a problem, because we need to change him back."

"So, what, I just picture him as a car again?" Jesse ventured. It couldn't possibly be that easy, nothing was ever that easy.
