mmmm, reminds me, I have all of those hash browns in the freezer...

'makes face' i am not a hash browns fan.. less their really crispy.

I love crispy hash browns... specially when they are mixed in with corn beef hash with ketchup... eggs and sometimes green beans on the side. :)

Has anyone read the book Airborn by Kenneth Oppel? It's a High-Seas Adventure novel set in the High Skies instead and it's REALLY great and reminds me a lot of this event!
Actually I just googled it and it's set to be made into a film adaptation! It was announced in March I think! Does this event have anything to do with that?
Gosh I really loved that book! It set in place my love of high seas adventure! >u< It's actually what lead me to Robin Hobbs's writing! I was looking for great High Seas novels and her Liveship traders Trilogy was one of the results I got and I decided that since her name reminded me of Robin McKinnley I'd check her out and luckily hey had the books at my Local Books-A-Million! Basically what I'm saying is that Robin Hobb is AMAZING and that Airborn is really awesome and if you like High Seas Adventure you should check them both out.

And that I'm REALLY SUPER MEGA EXCITED FOR THIS EVENT!!!

That sounds familiar! I've read soooo many books over the years that some of them meld together and I forget I've read them XD Or think the parts of one book happened in a different one XDDD

i can't wait! it's been a long time since i caught an event (went to college, lots of hiatuses happened). the last event i really took part in was the 2011 Phoenix Jubilee. I'm pumped for this one!

Sadly no. I work the 4th. My days off at my main job are Mondays and Tuesdays, but my second job usually schedules me one of those days, this week they put me in for both.
