got infection in my leg, but its clearing up thep ains gone and such.. at about four in the afternoon my time i go to the YMCA and excercise.. ohh eww i hate when my pill sticks to my tounge cause then i get that nasty chalky taste on it 'makes sour face'

The events usually run a week, give or take a few days (usually give) depends on how smoothly things run and when Jelly remembers to close it down.

i remember sometimes they'd extend them to a week and a half. should be fun though. hope we have some fun games and stuffs.

Because it's an official event it will be at least 5 days, most likely 7 (Friday to Friday). The staff is really good about making sure we all have enough time to get our event-business finished before closing things down. : )

Another thing, since I've been gone so long... If you guys remember, we had a very extensive event game with Phoenix Jubilee 2010 where everyone broke up into teams and attacked each others' machines? I know the mechanism was kinda derpy and broken, but it was fun nonetheless! There were seeds, and flowers, and spanners, and everyone had a specific job in their team. each item was used for something. Has there ever been something like that again or was it too glitchy so the staff never implemented it again?
Sorry, I'm just musing.

I think it comes down to basically the staff said "one week for event" and then all of a sudden... 9 days of event. "That's not what you told us! [gonk]" Or because the games are planned for a set time and then the event keeps going when the games are done?
I don't pretend to understand. I just have fun.

Sadly no. nothing that complex was done. The coding was just too extensive/expensive and as you said glitchy. Last PJ (actually last event!) we were able to pick teams to help build the shiny new airship!!

I wasn't around for that, Amaitae, but I heard it was pretty buggy. Right now they're doing their best to not have anymore buggy programming on the site to keep headaches down so I don't believe we'll be seeing that again... at least not until they have a programmer who is willing to put in the time for it.

Tophat: Yelch, Yeah. That's what I do during events (enjoy it for what it is and what not)... I suppose I can see why people would be upset in missing out on an opportunity to get more goodies, but it's like a surprise. You shouldn't be upset about not getting a surprise, that's the nature of surprises... you don't know they're coming! - Ah well. Not my business to tell people what to think and do, I'll just keep on with my own way about looking at it.

Darn, cuz it was awesome, a lot of people got into it. If only technology worked the way we wanted it to ^^;
I need to read up on what happened in the last event, since this one seems to be a continuation of it kind of. I'm not even sure where in the menewshan world we are in currently >_> *goes to do research*

Sooo... basically some pirates captured Mr. Mayor (and some other NPCs?) and we need to get them back? And we're currently on the island of Duval....
There really needs to be a sticky with a list of "historic" events and goings-on in our little nation, along with perhaps a map of the world that Menewsha is a part of. I'd LOVE to know more, and I enjoy the little lore things in the Resources section of the Information Desk, but there isn't really enough info.

Lately, even though being online everyday, due to the slow movement of the forum and my pickyness, my gold earning is not satisfying as it was used to, like few years back, 08? Kinda disappointing.

seriously xuvrette. hopefully this event kicks peoples' butts into gear and they stop lurking ^^;
