http://www.picturescolourlibrary.co....go/3224597.jpg (They live behind this waterfall in a huge village/cave.) Keira growled slightly as she pushed her soft green hair out of her face as her father explained to her that someone that was not a dragonoid had volunteered to come and study their race. None of the others understood why she was so upset. Shrugging it off she exited the conference room she hurried for her own designated house, which wasn't far from the building that she came from, that held all the government type of offices. Slamming the door behind her she walked straight into her personal library, that took up half of the bottom half of her house. Soon after her father walked into the house after her, "By the way, he is staying here until his leave." She just sat there waiting for more of an explanation but none really came, he just left. |
Kiyoto http://static.tumblr.com/9338f41203b...tic_592411.jpg Yuki (Ghost) Sayuri I have been around for a few years... 18 (Can be switched) It is easy to tell, that I am a... Male When looking for love, I tend to be... Bisexual My best qualities are... I am a technological prodigy, I can hack, program, re-program and more better than most. If it involves technology, typically I'm the guy for the job. I have an exceptional IQ and a photographic memory, which helps in many cases. I have quite a few connections throughout the world, which allows me to gain information and items one should not normally be able to get. I have training with guns as well as various martial arts. I am fast and agile, with gymnastics training. I am able to see and interact with spirits around me, including hearing them and physically feeling them as if their actually living or solid. . I am able to manipulate my spiritual energy, as well as seem to have a death sense. I have an ability to bless/purify things, as well as spirits, allowing them to cross over to the light. Though this one is tricky and not easy to use. My worst qualities are... I am not a fan of people, I don't know how to deal with them to often, so I typically come off as rude, cold and uncaring, or aloof. I hate being physically touched, other than when I give my permission. I have a hard time paying attention to things that bore me, I lose intrest in many things quickly. I am rash and tend to acta lot without thinking things through. I can be hot headed and find it hard to sit still for to long. I am rash and hotheaded a lot, often rushing into things without thinking about how it will harm me. I am blunt and upfront, which costs me a bit of trouble, especially my mouth. I can be unpredictable, hard to handle and hard to read. My story begins here... Yuki's past is a mystery to most, he refuses to talk about it. What is known from files and what is recorded, is he was born to a normal family. His parents died when he was young by a break in, to which they were murdered and he was badly injured. After that his past becomes a bit sketchy. It is said he was shipped from foster homes, though he was never adopted. He learned to take care of himself, to get what he needed and to survive on his own. Many of his records have vanished mysteriously, there are few to none traces about him, which is partially the reason for his nickname. He is an experienced hacker and informationalist, who is notorious for covering his tracks and leaving nothing behind. He is wanted by many for his skills and what he knows. So far no one has been able to track him down or catch him, though that is about to change. Oh, before I forget... I never go ANYWHERE without my goggles. The music of my life... Super Psycho Love Yuki sighed, walking along outside of the waterfall. The lengths that he would go to for his customers. Looking up at the sky through his goggles, he closed them for a moment at the blinding light. It was dulled down due to the goggles, though it was still bright out here. He ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head a bit. "What have I gotten myself into?" he looked back at the waterfall, before slowly making his way to and behind it. He knew that there was more to it then met the eye, as seen with the large cave like opening behind it, which was hiding an entire village. His gloved hand tightened on the strap of his bag a bit he was not looking forward to living so close to people he did not know. He barley liked people he did know being so close. The thought of actually possible touching was just revolting at the moment. "Hello?" he said a bit quietly, not sure if he really wanted an answer at all. |
Keira's father reappeared in front of her, holding out a hand to help her up. "The person is here, get him and bring him back, everyone will be kept from messing with him or you. Now go." Sighing, and slightly growling, she got up without her fathers help and slammed the door behind her yet again. After walking a few blocks she saw a man with goggles. "You are the person everyone has been waiting for?" She asked as she walked closer to him, her tail swishing behind her slightly. After pushing her glasses up slightly she attempted to smile making it look more like a grimace. "My name is Keira. You will be staying with me as you find whatever it is you are looking for." Looking down she started twiddling her fingers, "Would you like to go to where you are staying or would you like a tour?" Her smile turned genuine at the thought of showing her village or house around.
|
He looked up as a female came out to greet him, asking him if he was the one people were waiting for. He looked her over a little bit, his eyes showing no signs of intrest in her or being here at the moment. His expression was more of bordum and disintrest. He pulled his bag more up on his shoulder, glancing around him a bit. A tour or going to wherever he was staying. Both ideas ment interaction, so it really mattered little what he did really. He gave a slight wave of his hand in her direction, "do what you want, I'll just follow." He reached up, adjusting the goggles on his head, before slowly directing his attention for the most part back on her. He wanted to get going, though he was not going to make himself seem so energetic about it. The less people could tell about him the better. He watched her a bit, taking in the details of her being, without barley moving his eyes at all. He wondered a bit what this trip would have in store for him. |
Keira nodded, "Well I don't particularly want to go around the village and risk having to talk to id-I mean the others." she blushed at her mistake and waved for him to follow. Not looking back to actually see if he was walking along with her she spoke up again, "Misqueto's aren't that bad inside the cave because the waterfall acts kind of like a bug net, lightning bugs are common so please don't freak out or anything if you see one." Side stepping a large rock in her path her tail swooped up and over it as it started to swish slightly behind her, "Not many people come here so there might be curious eyes watching if you leave the house." Pointing towards a house where the blinds closed quickly, "I advise not leaving until necessary. If you require anything and would rather stay in the house then please let me know and I can fetch it for you." Pausing she looked over her shoulder as she slightly bared her fangs, "Please don't bother me unless it is important, I have my own research I am working on as well." Walking only a slightly bit further she then turned and walked up to an old Victorian style house and unlocked it, opening the door to let them both inside. Almost every wall contained books and various other artifacts which looked old and important. "Look around, make yourself at home. The very top level is my living quarters, other than that you can pick any room you want to stay in. Are you hungry?" She finally asked, turning to him and pushing up her glasses.
|
He stayed silent, not having much to say to her really. He was only half listening, having little interest in what she was speaking of either. When she bared her fangs, he did not even flinch, raising an eyebrow lightly at her instead. Her home seemed addiquate enough, glancing around for a moment before she explained about the top area. She asked if he was hungry and he shook his head. "No, wouldn't wish to get in your way..I'll get started" he turned away, merely moving off to look for himself and find a room that would allow him to be alone and to work. Well this was shaping up to be a fine little arrangement. His host seemed to be more annoyed with him than anything and although he did not particularly like people, it was still not greeted well to be treated like he was mearly a hassle someone had to put up with. His eyes narrowed a bit, his jaw slightly clenching. He found a room that would do just fine, tossing his bag onto the bed and closing the door. He moved to what seemed to be a desk, moving some of the stuff to the side before he moved to his bag to get a notebook and a pen. He was more high tech, though he had no trouble working low tech as well. His handwritting was beautifully skilled, as he opened to the first blank page and wrote a slight note at the top. |
Keira rolled her eyes and walked off to the kitchen and pulled out a steak, figuring he really didn't want any food. Sighing as she started heating up the stove and pick out the potato that she deemed good enough to eat and shoved that into the preheated oven, turning her attention to the stove top with her grill pan. Setting the large piece of meat on it she put her hand on her hip and thought to herself of what else she would like. Moving to her fridge she pulled some snap green beans out and washed them and put them aside as she started boiling water. After flipping her steak she decided to cook another one, in case he was hungry and was just put off my her attitude and shoved a second potato in the oven. Placing the beans in the water she pulled out the first potato and set it on a plate, cutting it open. The first steak was done; cooked at medium due to her not knowing how he liked it.
After flipping the other steak again she noticed the green beans were done and placed some on the plate as well. Soon her own food was done too. Once she plated her own food she placed both on the table with silver coverings on them and took out everything anyone would normally want on a potato and placed it on the table as well. Sighing she then walked to the room she saw him heading to and knocked. "Dinner is on the table. If you don't come down to eat I will set it in the fridge for you and you can heat it back up. It's steak." She said loud enough to be heard before she turned and walked down to the kitchen where she poured herself a glass of wine, telling herself she would only wait five minutes before she started eating her own food. The food covering keeping their food hot still for now. |
He was working on the first of his entries, his mind on a few things all at once, though he tried to keep it set. Taking a breath, he glanced at the door as the knock came to it. The girl seemed to have made him food dispite what he had said earlier. He debated ignoring it and getting back to work, though he figured he might as well eat something. He stood, closing the book and sitting it on the bed. He slipped to the door, slowly opening it a bit, looking out. She had gone back down he guessed, that was fine with him. He moved to the end of the hall then to the kitchen, leaning against the door frame. He watched her sitting there with a drink of wine. Raising an eyebrow he watched. "You do not have to pretend" he said, "you do not want me here so there is no point in dancing around this little subject." He moves over to the table though, slowly sitting down and uncovering the plate. He would not be rude, if she made it he would eat it, so that was fine with him. He did not look at her as he looked over the plate just a moment. He picked up his fork, taking a bite of the beans. |
Tilting her head she smiled and took another sip of her wine as she uncovered her own plate, "It's not that I do not wish you were not here, it is just that I was forced to do this today, with no heads up. They could have at least told me beforehand someone was to be coming for a while so I could clean and stock up on appropriate foods." Her voice was quiet as she began fixing her potato to her liking. Glancing up at him she smiled awkwardly, "I'm terribly sorry if I come off rude. I have little to no interaction with anyone beside the Dragonoid community, which they are a rather... feisty... bunch." She started cutting her steak, taking a bite then filling her wine glass up again. "Would you like something to drink?" She questioned after she remembered that she forgot to ask.
|
"Water is fine" he says simply, allowing the other part of the conversation to slide. He takes a bite of his own steak. It was not bad, though he would not openly admit that. She was not bad of a cook, though he was used to cooking for himself. Taking care of himself was nothing new to him. He had been doing it for years, since his parents deaths. He sighed a bit as the thought passed over his mind. He glanced at her from the corner of his eye, taking in her appearance and such a bit more clearly. Taking a slightly calmer breath, he turned his attention back to his plate, merely staring at the plate for the time being as thoughts began to swirl around his head. It was begining to make him feel a bit cornered in, though he attempted to push it from his mind. |
Nodding when he told her what would be fine to drink she stood up, turning to get her guest a glass of water, well she just filled up a wine glass with ice and water and brought it back to the table where she sat down again after gently placing the glass in front of him. Keira automatically started swishing the wine around her glass before she took a drink, then started eating again. "My name is Keira, I will be somewhere around the house if you ever need me. Though you seem to stick to yourself. Which is fine. I'm sure you can find the ancient scrolls in my basement. There is an extensive collection of ancient artifacts and other ancient things. Please be careful if you go there, it's a bit dark and dingy I must say. Maybe I should clean it." She thought the last part out loud then drank the last of her wine. Shrugging she finished her food and then got up to clean all the dishes, expecting the younger man to either leave his dishes or bring them to her, either way she didn't mind.
|
He let her talk, though he said nothing really during the meal. When he was done, he took a sip of the water, before moving to the sink. He did not ask her to take care of his mess, having no trouble in rinsing and cleaning off his dishes himself. He placed them by the sink, before heading towards the door. "Thank you" he said, before moving out to go to his room once more. His mind was processing the information he had been given, he would look into it if needed later on. Right now, he had an entry he needed to finish. Walking into his room, he noticed his cell blinking. He walked over, picking it up from the bed, looking at the words telling him there was a message on the screen. It was from Lestat. He pressed to open it. Be careful. He smiled a bit at the simple but kind message, turning to lay back on the bed. He stared at the two simple words from Les that ment so much coming from him. He chuckled, laying the phone over his heart for a moment and closing his eyes. His arm behind his head. |
Keira finished the dishes, drying them and putting them away when she turned around sighing. Walking to the table she filled the wine glass to the brim and took both it and the bottle with her around the corner, down the hall, and into the library. Lighting a few lanterns around her. Basking slightly in the candle light she smiled and took a sip of wine as she pulled an old, worn, book and opened it to a bookmarked page. After sitting in a large, comfy, chair she set her wine bottle down and started to read, sipping from her glass every now and then.
|
Yuki felt the silence of the house set in. He did not mind it, he was a man of silence in many ways. In others, he could not stand it. Sitting up, he opened his bag and took out what looked like a metronome one would use for a piano to keep time and such. Sitting it on the bed side table, he pressed a button. It began to swing a needle back and forth, making a slight ticking sound. It was annoying to him after a while, though better than the silence. He laid back once more, closing his eyes to the world around him. |
After a while Keira looked at the time and decided she should check on her guest and make sure he had everything he needed. As she walked to the room he was staying in she rubbed her neck unsure of herself. Keira never really talked to mmany people or even be near people, she was content being alone.... therefore she didn't know how to react to Yuki. Finally she made it to the room and knocked on the door, "Mr. Yuki, would you like a drink or something?" her tail swiped furiously behind her as she looked at her feet embarrassed.
