What's your reaction if your see a super cheap deals?

Different people would formed their different shopping habit. So i need to know what's your opinions if your found a cheap deals but with great design?

ElysiumFate 09-12-2013 05:33 PM

Usually my reaction to a good deal is: "WHOOP that's comin' home." *grabs* But I always make sure to look at the quality of whatever I'm buying. A good deal should always be a hint that there's possibly something wrong with the item or whatever. With food, it's often out of date, with clothes they're usually shoddily made and so on.

My favorite deal is usually a coupon deal because of that. I get something for 75% off, but it's because I have great coupons and such. I pretty much never step foot in thrift stores because of this. Yeah, it's more green to buy from thrift stores, but I almost always get brand new clothes for cheaper than thrift stores by using coupons and waiting for sales.

if its stuff i actually want or need i get it. otherwise i don't give it a second glance.

Depends what it is. If it's food, i usually don't take up on offers because chances are i'm only feeding myself and grabbing a lot just for the sake of it would be pointless. I'm a sucker for random jazz though. And it's got to be decent quality. No point in buying cheap tat.

At the store I go to they are super cheap anyway~ Then they cycle through sales each week which makes things so cheap you can't find it anywhere else. EAT THAT WALLMART!! Yup I know a store that's better than wallmart and they have fresh fish and meats to your every desire~!!! Most of their store brand products are just like the name brand. I found the only exception is their mustard.... YUCK! Then not only do they have super cheap prices but at the end you get cupons off your next purchase. One time I got $10 off my next purchase~! *DROOL* They also give cupons to products you bought~!

The store I go to is Hannaford~! I went to wallmart to compare stores and yeah the prices were much higher at wallmart and they had no fresh meat...... All of their fish are FROZEN!!! Yush I am picky about my meat. Their frozen meat is twice as expensive as Hannaford's fresh meat! So yup I stick with Hannaford!

If it's a product that I know I'll use at some point in the future, I will absolutely take advantage of a cheap deal when I see it. But I don't like spending money just for the sake of spending money - If it's an item that I wouldn't otherwise be interested in, then a low price won't be enough to convince me that I need it.

Over Labor Day weekend, I bought a quality bra for 65 cents. Best deal I ever found!

MinakoAxule 09-17-2013 11:51 PM

Knerd you are so lucky~! To get a bra that cheap is unheard of around here!

Bearzy 09-18-2013 06:57 AM

What?? Bras are usually more like 65 dollars!

Anyway, I'm a total impulse shopper. It's terrible really, but if I see it, I want it and it's on sale, I'll probably buy it. My exception (and my wallet will thank me for this) is online shopping. I'll often load up a cart online and almost buy it but chicken out when I see the shipping price.

Cherry Who? 09-18-2013 08:16 AM

$65, omg. Do they have Aerie in your country? Their bras are the only ones I'll wear and they're $20-30. They last a good long time, too. I had one that only lasted me the standard 6 months, but another that's still good some three years later.

TheEmpressofEvil 09-19-2013 04:52 AM

It depends on the type of deal and what its for. I usually don't go for Buy One Get One deals unless its Buy One Get One Free. Usually that isn't the case and its buy one get one half off. It works great if you were planning on getting 2 to begin with. Otherwise it amounts to only 25% off of buying 2 very specific items. Most of the time, I just want one item and the second item is an necessary waste of money. The exception to this would be non-perishable food type items that I can store and use later.

I don't go for semi-annual sales. Explicitly the Victoria Secret one. It seems a majority of my female friends do and post about it on facebook and whatnot. I just tend to wonder, how could you spend so much on Bras!? I get it. looks cute. But the best bra's I've ever owned did not cost me 30+ (on sale). Most of them have come from clearance sales when clearance was 75% off and they're still darned cute and good at doing what they're supposed to do.

I think the bottom line is that I avoid the expensive stores. If I absolutely need something, I find coupons. I like getting Kohl's 30% off coupons. Mixing those coupons with Kohl's cash and sales in progress has saved me lots of money on things I actually needed.

Cherry Who? 09-19-2013 07:57 AM

Empress - Where are you finding 75% off bra sales? [:o] I've never found a cheap bra that I was at all satisfied with.

Bearzy 09-19-2013 06:55 PM

My favourite bra was like $42? But that's just from a cheapish department store. For a really good bra you can pay up to $100 here, easily, esp if you're bigger.

Cherry Who? 09-19-2013 07:29 PM

I'd like to visit NZ someday. If I do, I'll smuggle you some cheap American bras. [lol]

Knerd 09-20-2013 12:23 AM

I've started calling my 65 cent bra the Miracle Bra. I just happened to pick up the right item at the right time with all the right discounts. The cashier and I were giggling the entire time that she rang my purchase up. [lol]

I sincerely doubt if I'm ever going to get a lucky bargain like that again!

Cherry Who? 09-20-2013 08:27 AM

What store was it at, at least? [:o]

Mostly torrid and other stores with online shopping options. They usually always have a clearance section and then every season they have a clearance sale. They do have BOGO sales on bras too. Usually those are the only times I do BOGO sales. My Bras do last a long time but when I do need to replace some I usually just get 2.

@Beary Try torrid for bras if you're bigger or know someone that is. For torrid they also do a sale called Haute Cash. For every 50 you spend you get $25 hot cash. Don't go for it. Just wait a while and periodically do a google search for "Torrid coupon." All of the codes used to redeem haute cash online will be posted for people to just copy and paste and save even when they never bought anything to earn haute cash. I've gotten as much as $150 off of 300 and that $300 was for merchandise that was already in the clearance section with heavy markdowns online. I haven't bought clothes in well over a year because of that sale. We'll except for one dress because it was just plain adorable.

I agree. They are pricey and hard to find cute styles in the bigger sizes. Even the ugly, old lady ones cost a lot.

onsenmark 09-23-2013 06:31 AM

I recently ordered a PS3 and five "retro" games for $130.

For once, Gamestop is good for SOMETHING. lol. [XD]

Rachaelxxoo 09-27-2013 02:23 AM

It depends on what I'm buying as well. c: Usually if it's shoes, I buy it straight away. Idk, what;s just me. [boogie]

thelettervee 10-03-2013 05:55 PM

when i see a good deal my thought is usually "oh mah gahd, that is a sweet deal! *looks at item closer and ponders if i would even use it/ need it* babe, can i has???? whatever i'm an adult! i can have it if i want! >:0" and then i decide right then and there if i will get it. if not i put it back on the shelf and say "my adult self decided not to" if i do want it i proudly slam it into the cart :D

jupiter 10-05-2013 11:59 PM

If I don't need it now or in the future, then I don't have any interest in it.

waytodawn 10-06-2013 06:05 AM

My reaction is like omg can't believe this is real!!!
I just found some polo jeans that are originally $44 bucks for $8 bucks the other day and bought those babehs :D
I'm wearing them tomorrow c:

Zimmerdale 10-07-2013 03:17 AM

If I have the money and it's something I either want or need, I'll attack that son of a bitch and claim it as mine as soon as possible.
