" We know what can happen. SHIELD has a such a device that can conceal up to a group of three for recon. It hasn't been tested but I'm sure Fitz-Simmons here can make sure it's working correctly." Fury said and looked at Skye. "We kept an eye on you making sure you were safe until you turned 18. Mostly surveillance. There were a few attempts when you were younger when the wrong people tried to get a hold of you. " He added. " I suggest if you do agree to help us you don't do it alone. Though it's completely up to you if you choose to bring someone along." Fury said.

"That device is almost ready. I did test it this morning while Agent Ward was acting like a show off in the gun range. I didn't know he liked to sing either ." Fitz said and knew he should not have said that last part.

The Doctor thought for a few seconds about this before nodding lightly. "If I may, I would like to take Leana Hatcher and Clint Barton with me, if that's okay with the both of you that is," he said before looking at both. If they didn't want to come then that was there priority. "And before anyone asks, I will bring them straight back here. No detours, only recon into the past," he said.

Skye just shook her head at that explanation before turning to Coulson. "If you knew...then was that the reason you let me join your team? Because you already knew who and what I am?" she asked, a little bit of anger seeping out in her tone.

" I don't mind at all. Luckly I was in Prague that week." Clint said." I hope I have your permission to bring my bow with me." Clint said. He had a feeling there was something more to Anne than she had let on.

Anne Carpenter or the Dark Lady as she went by now was nervous. She had barley survived that attack and had spent the last 9 years trying to find her husband. Though now she looked different and didn't know why she had changed her appearance after opening that watch of hers. The last thing she needed was SHIELD to find out who she was.

" That wasn't the reason. We didn't know it was you at first actually." Coulson said." Doctor Barton rarely goes on any mission without his bow. You might run into the Dark Lady while you are there. We've been on her tail for the last 8 years but still don't know who she really is." He added.

"I'd rather not say where I was, I know I wasn't anywhere near China," Leana responded. "I'm in." she added, not wanting to tell them where she was training at that time...or what she was doing.

"Your bow should be fine Agent Barton...or can I just call you Clint?" The Doctor asked before agreeing. "And Leana...you should probably take a weapon with you as well, just in case we do run into this Dark Lady that you're worried about," he added afterwards. Now all they had to do was wait for the cloaking device.

" You can call me Clint. Or if we need to use code names while in the field,I'm called Hawkeye." He said with a grin." I've run into Dark Lady a few times Doctor. She seems very familiar with SHIELD procedures and is quite the fighter. She's not an enemy but more like a friendly adversary. "He added.

Anne knew that soon The Doctor would be in Shanghai in her past and would contact him once he returned. She needed to know what she was truly and was tired of waiting .

" The device is ready to be used. Just bring it back in one piece? It took me and Simmons forever to get it perfect." Fitz said and handed The Doctor the box.

"Alright then," The Doctor said with a nod as he took in everything that Clint had said before turning to the two scientists. "And thank you for being so quick with your task, it will make several things easier," he replied.

" We are glad to help you Doctor. " Sinmons said with a smile.

It was 2004 and Anne was nervous. The dreams she had been having were getting more intense and she was worried about this mission. " Roger are you sure this isn't a trap? We don't really know who Wang is. " She said to her husband.

"True, but we cannot afford to not meet with the man Anne," Roger replied. He was just as worried as his wife was, but he was putting on a brave front.

" I know. It's just my dreams have been getting more intense the last few days and I'm worried about Andrea. I know she's a civilian now but I still am concerned. " Anne said thinking about the last dream she had. " All I saw was fire and a woman's voice screaming. I know that woman was my mother but I couldn't see her face. " She added.

"You think they're actual visions?" He asked, knowing what could happen if she thought they were.

" Or memories. I wish I knew but I'm afraid to find out. " Anne said and stood up walking to the window. " I wish I knew who my parents were. Sometimes I wonder if I'm really a mutant at all. " She said.

Roger hugged his wife lightly. "It doesn't matter to me honey," he replied before letting go and opening the door. "Ladies first" he said with a light grin.

" Thank you sweetie. When this is over are we still going to invite Andrea for dinner? I want to know how her schooling is going. " Anne said and opened the elevator. She had to think positive that this would go well.

"I don't see why we can't deviate from that plan, unless something has come up?" he asked as he entered behind her, making sure that the door didn't slam behind him.

" Sounds good to me. " Anne said and made sure her gun was in place. This was supposed to be an easy job but something didn't feel right in the back of her mind. " Maria's going to be undercover while we do this. Phil's stuck in DC and Clint is in Prague still. " Anne said in a whisper. They were secure but she still would be carful.

" This place is interesting. I can think of at least 4 spots I could get a good view from. " Clint said looking around the TARDIS. He wasn't going to ask how it could be bigger on the inside feeling that Tony or even Bruce would understand better. "Doctor what are the chances The Dark Lady is Anne somehow? I've only met her a few times but I swear she knows more about me and SHIELD than she lets on. "He added.

(When you get a chance to watch the new ep (sadness until Feb 4th) who knew that we were right...Skye apparently DOES have some sort of power...)

Roger nodded, as he checked his pistol one last time. Granted this was suppose to be a peaceful transaction between the three of them, but neither he nor his wife were stupid. They were prepared just in case this, indeed, was a trap.

"Just promise you won't be doing any shooting while inside. If you do, I'm not responsible for where and when we land," The Doctor said after he brought the both of them inside, the cloaking device within his hand. "Okay, once you both get comfortable, we can make our way to Shanghai China," he said with a grin as he thought over what Clint said.

( I did see it. Some of the theories about Skye are creepy. )


Anne made sure the pocket watch she owned was close to her. For some reason she could hear it speaking to her and hoped it wasn't her imagination. " We need to stay together. I have a bad feeling someone is following us. " Anne said telepathically to her husband. She had a strong connection with Roger and knew sometimes when he was feeling sad. Anne knew why he was sad, since they both missed their little Skye Kathleen. "I know someday my girls will meet each other. I just want to be alive to see them together. " She thought sadly to herself.

" I promise sir. I don't fire my arrows inside if I can help it. I just wished I would have shot Loki the first moment after he arrived. That was the darkest time in my life. I almost killed my best friend. And to think in 2004 I had been sent to gather information on Natasha. Best call I ever made was to trust her. Fury didn't like it at first but he got over it. " Clint said and sat down thinking about the friend he had lost and the one he would eventually gain.

Wang was waiting for the Carpenters, who wanted to know where the last remaining leader of the Original Hydra was. Unfortunately for them, this would become their last mission...at least their last mission under SHIELD that was. The device he had within his hand was one of the inventions that the Red Skull made back in World War II, having created a mind control device.

"Perhaps Natasha is more than just a friend by now?" Leana asked, having a feeling that that was the case.

" Maybe. " Clint said blushing a bit. " But don't tell her okay?"He added.

Anne opened her pocket watch since it told her it was time but for what she didn't know. She felt odd for a moment and knew somehow she wasn't fully human anymore. " Doctor Wang are you ready?" Anne asked once they reached the room. " Nick is going to kill me. I shouldn't have opened my watch but what am I now ? I feel two hearts in my chest and my mind is racing. Closest thing I can think of is Timelord but they don't exist."She thought to herself.
