I'm forgetful, alright?
Most of the time, yes. He really plays those characters well. I don't think he's typecasted but he definitely seems like he might be. And shut up. *begins to rub your shoulders again* |
Hey now. That shut up was uncalled for! *accepts the shoulder rub as an apology*
I don't know if he's typecast so much as he just likes those roles. He's done comedy roles as well, but I think he enjoys playing asshole characters. |
*spends half his time modding GTA: SA with vehicles mods instead of actually playing the game*
Basically have to install craploads of vehicle mods. I love em. I need em. Vehicle mods are half the game for me. |
Yo
last game I played was Far Cry 3. I died twice in the tutorial, and then got killed by a pig #winning |
I used to do that with Skyrim except I was spending half my time installing house mods. And pretty boy follower mods. [drool]
---------- Post added 05-11-2014 at 02:29 PM ---------- That's alright, Pearl. I once got mauled to death 30 consecutive times by a bear in Skyrim. |
Sims is a pretty good outlet for wannabe architects who wish they weren't studying law... :'D
|
I've never played Sims.
|
I started playing when my parents got me number 1, aged 9. Year 2000. Good times.
|
Honestly, I probably didn't even know those games existed until about 2009 or 10. XD I kinda want to play them, and I kinda don't because I know they're life suckers.
|
It's kinda cute though, because I didn't use the internet... or know anything about games or internet... and I have a specific memory of when my cousin gave me cheat codes for Sims 1, because I had no idea they existed xD
I was like WOW now I can buy the BIG house! |
Hehehe, ahhh. Cheatcodes are the best. I once played a game where it would have taken like five months of irl playing time to get to the highest level. I'd gone through three months of it, found the cheatcode and then just went all the way to the top. Some games just take wayyyy too long.
|
The Sims is addicting. Can lose your life in that game. Did it many times.
Played like every one of them at some point. |
Like most people, I now find most of my gaming is on my phone... I kinda see console games in the same way as a large boxset I haven't started, like Game of Thrones xD
The games I've actually finished are the ones which carry you along the narrative. I'm less interested in games with loads of quests and bars to fill and points to get. Sure I wanna have a chase and a shoot out and a climb, but I'm more into it if I can finish a story in 3-4 weeks of intermittent play. ---------- Post added 05-11-2014 at 09:52 PM ---------- Oh yeah, and I've totally wasted a lot of time on the Sims, but after all these years I'm not so interested. Anyway, at some point in TS2 they stopped caring about players. When you look back at TS1, it has way more items, the descriptions are sassy and funny, it's got more humour and feeling to it. |
If I game I game on my computer.
Yeah, I can't play games without some form of a storyline. I cannot stand grinding for hours and hours and hours to level up but never having any story to go with it. |
Two papers to go and I'm done with my semester!! [boogie] Now to find the motivation to write those two papers. [lol]
|
I just sent in the last of my stuff today, so I'm done. I think I've got one A in the bag, now waiting on the other.
|
If I had been on top of things, I would be done already, but I'm lacking serious motivation to write these last two papers (2 page min, and 7 page min). *tries to go on a quest to find her motivation*
Congrats on finishing up the semester! :) |
I know how that is. I always lose motivation around the middle or last third of the semester. I tend to lose motivation towards the end of everything. XP
And thankies. :) |
For me it's always at the end, I'm fine till the last few weeks. [yes]
|
Yeah, it's definitely the worst for me in the last month. This semester wasn't too bad because I didn't take a lot of classes this semester (I was taking a "break") but I still could've worked harder than I did.
|
I wish that I could have taken less classes, but for insurance reasons as well as dorm reasons, I had to take 12 units.
|
I went half credit this semester, but it didn't mess up my financial aid, so it was okay. I think it may mess with my insurance, but I'm not sure, yet. Either way, one semester of having my insurance borked is alright for me because I was so burnt out.
|
I wish that was an option for me - I'm totally burnt out. I know I only have a year left, but I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to survive it. [sweat] And it probably will mess with your insurance - I know for me, because I need at least to be full time to stay on my parent's insurance and not have it get higher than it already is, that if I'm not, I need to find alternate insurance because I need it because of health related issues.
|
So I think I might actually try to watch some House of Cards today. I've been meaning to get into the series.
|
Oh, I won't get kicked off my parent's insurance because of it. It shouldn't be too troublesome. I know with my car insurance at least it doesn't matter if I'm taking a half or full load, all they care about is that my grades are high.
@Cole: Go for it, and tell us how overrated it is. [lol] |
